Favorite Spring Shoes

Sneakers, espadrilles, wedges and sandals I've got the bases covered.  Here's a roundup of my favorite shoes for the season.

Eyelet Espadrille Wedges: These are such a great dupe to the Chloe Espadrilles.  The detail on them is so pretty.  I got the mauve color and they are such a pretty neutral.  They fit true to size, are really comfy and will be so cute paired with everything from dresses to jeans.

Rhinestone Sandals: These sandals are so good, thank goodness Target brought them back!  They are so comfy and add the perfect touch of glam to your look.

Platform sneakers: These might be my new favorite slip on sneakers.  They are so classic and I love the elevated platform look.  They are also Dr. Scholl's so they are really comfy!

Eyelet Espadrille Flatforms: I picked these up last year and am still obsessed with them!  They are so classy and feminine with a boho touch.  They are also really comfy!

Ked's Platform Sneakers: Updated classic Ked's!  These have a hidden 2" wedge that gives you a little height yet are still really comfy with a cloud-foam sole.  They are also on sale right now for $24.95!!

Jack Rogers Wedges:  These shoes are so classic and perfect for spring.  I love the metallic detail, perfect for dressing up a look.  I will definitely be getting my wear out of these!

Leopard Espadrille Slip On: YES Another Target favorite that was brought back!!  These are so good!  They are so comfy and perfect to slide on and go with ALL your looks.

White Vans: I have been wearing these all the time lately.  They are so easy to slip on and go.  I got the checkered white print and love the classic print in an understated look.

Look for Less: Adidas Swift Run Leopard Sneakers

I promised a look for less and this one is a GOOD ONE!  

I saw so many instagramers show off these Adidas leopard sneakers last year and for good reason, they are so stinking cute!  With such a following they are constantly sold out and if you can find them in stock they are around $85.  I found a dupe for less than $20!

Adidas Swift Run Leopard $84.99: Are they more comfortable and better quality, yes.  If you are wearing these for working out and walking miles these might be a better option for you.  If you are just looking for a cute pair of shoes I'd say try the dupe first. 

Athletic Works Leopard Sneakers $18.98: How cute are these??  They have a memory foam sole so they are comfortable, no the quality doesn't match the Adidas pair but they are a fraction of the cost.  For a cute shoe to wear running errands and walking around, I'm fine with that.  I found that they run about 1/2 a size big.  I am normally a 6.5 and I liked the fit of the 6 best.  

Look for Less: Ruffle Trim Wedges

I've got another look for less for you!  It's no secret that I love a good deal, why spend more when you can get the same look for less??

Marc Fisher Ruffle Wedges $50: Honestly, these ruffle wedges aren't a terrible price, but when you can save $30 why wouldn't you?

Time and Tru Ruffle Wedges $20: Faux suede, ruffle detail, ankle strap, only difference is the Marc Fisher pair have an espadrille wedge and these are cork. 

If you are going for a more quality shoe, the extra $30 may be worth it to you.  If you are looking for a cute wedge with a little flirty detail save some cash and go for the dupe.

Look for Less: Woven Mules

I have seen so many bloggers post pictures of these Sam Edelman woven mules and they are so chic...they are also $100.  While looking through Walmart I found a pretty close dupe for almost 90% off!!

Sam Edelman Clara Woven Mule $100: Obviously the quality of this pair is better, real leather and delicate woven detailing, but the price is way more than I am willing to pay. 

Big Buddha Woven Mule $15: These shoes are such a great dupe!  Get the chic woven look for WAY less!!

I don't know how I ended up with so many shoes but I wanted to share them with you. 

Leopard slip-on sneakers: I have been looking for a pair of leopard sneakers forever and finally found these.  They are super comfy (think walking on a pillow) and the leopard is a really good print.  They are sold out on the site but coming back SOON!!

Studded buckle slides: I'm loving the western trend going on in shoes lately!  These studded buckle sandals are right up my alley.  They are really comfy and perfect for pairing with everything!

Rhinestone slide sandals: I have wanted these sandals since Target brought them out last year.  I passed on them then but when they brought them back I knew I had to pick them up.  I was afraid the rhinestones would be too dressy and I wouldn't get a lot of wear out of them.  So wrong, I have been pairing these with everything.  I wear them to work, church and running around town.  So cute and so comfy!!

Five Things Friday

Another weekly favorites!  A little random, but that's what makes it fun.

Teleties: I got these in my stocking and have been loving them.  I got the peppermint color and it is like a unicorn, all holographic and gorgeous.  These guys really work, they are super comfy in your hair and look really cute on your wrist.  I've been wearing one on my wrist pretty much everyday.  Also little tip, if they get a little stretched out shrink them back with hot water.

Liz High Top Sneakers: I finally got my hands on these shoes!  They were on my Christmas wishlist but ended up selling out.  I got a notification that they were back in stock and jumped on it.  These guys are super comfy!  I have been wearing them non-stop!!  They look exactly like the Dolce Vita pair but for a fraction of the price.

Extra Toasty Cheez-its: So this is a random favorite but y'all if you haven't tried the extra toasty cheez-its you are missing out completely!  I like the "burnt" cheze-its in the regular box and this is a box of just them!  Now don't get put off, they don't taste burnt, you really have to try them for yourself!

Animal print robe: I got this robe for Christmas and have pretty much been living in it!  It is crazy soft and cozy.  It says it is animal print but my husband has dubbed it "Giwaffle".  He says it looks like a Giraffe/waffle.

Kendra Scott Elisa necklace: This was my early birthday gift from my husband.  We spent the weekend spending time together and picked up this beauty.  It is the Elisa in the light blue illusion and I'm in love!  I have been wanting an Elisa for years and finally have one in my collection.

Five Things Friday

I love seeing what people are loving.  It's been a while since I have done a post on my favorites, thought I would bring it back.

Stranger Things: Kyle and I have been watching this for a while and I realized that I hadn't even talked about it.  We are on season 2 now and I'm definitely hooked.  I held off on watching it because I was afraid it would be too scary (I'm a total chicken).  While it is a little freaky the story line is great as well as the characters.  We are about halfway through season 2 and I can't wait to see what happens. 

Anastasia Soft Glam Palette: I got this as a Christmas gift and am in love!  I will admit I was definitely afraid of this palette at first but y'all its so pretty!  The shadows are super buttery and pigmented.  It's always nice to get something as a gift that you wouldn't normally get yourself. 

Sam Edelman Boots: These boots!!  I have been wearing these boots so much this winter.  They look so chic!  The fur is crazy soft and I love the soft touch they give to your outfit.  

Alex and Ani Bracelet: My mom got this for me for Christmas and I have been wearing it everyday since.  The charm is sterling silver and the bracelet adjusts to fit my wrist (something that rarely happens).  They are on sale right now for $10!

Planner: I am a big fan of having a planner to write in for the year.  This one was a Christmas gift and I am loving the large layout.

It has been while since I have done a Friday favorites and I missed talking about things I have been loving.  

Dunkin Donuts Maple Pecan Iced Coffee: I have a love hate relationship with Dunkin Donuts coffee.  I have only had a few that I really love, most of the time they are way too sweet.  I had a coupon and decided to give the new fall flavor a try.  Guys I am obsessed!  It was delicious!!  I am a big fan of Starbuck's Toffee Nut and this is really similar.  I will for sure be getting quite a few before they disappear for the season.  Have you tried this one?  What's your favorite Dunkin drink?

Cinnamon Quick Bread Mix: I found a box of this on clearance and thought I would give it a try.  We made it for breakfast over the weekend and y'all this stuff is delicious!!  I went back and bought all they had, such an easy treat!

Dote App: I have heard all about the Dote App on youtube and just decided to give it a try.  Run down, Dote is like a mall on an app.  You can add things from all kinds of different stores (forever 21, Revolve, Sephora, DSW and then checkout all together.  You only have to enter your credit card info once...it's almost too easy.  Use my code: BMEOL for $5 off!

Peplum Denim Jacket: If you follow me on instagram (or in real life) you know I love this jacket.  A denim jacket is such a classic choice but add the peplum ruffle hem and it gives it a feminine update.  I have been pairing it with everything. 

Leopard Espadrille Mules: These shoes have been on my wishlist since they came out.  I almost bought them several times and something held me back.  Last week I went thrift store shopping and found them brand new in my size for $5!!  Guys that's why I love thrifting!!  I have been wearing them on repeat lately and honestly they are worth the $25, they are super comfortable and I love how they look.  Don't be afraid of the animal print, it goes with everything.

Things I Bought Recently (Zulilly, Walmart, Target, DSW, and more!)

I am always on the search for a good deal and I have found some gems.  Here are some things I have picked up recently and things I am obsessed with!

I have been on the search for a good pair of snake slip on sneakers for so long and these are perfect!!  I found them on Zulily for less than $15 and y'all the quality is awesome!

I think I have talked about this before but I am obsessed with this pink tumbler!!  If you haven't jumped on the Ozark Trail wagon yet you definitely need to, they are amazing!

The normal tumblers come with a lid but it doesn't have a closure, Walmart now has extra lids you can get that have a closure.  Makes these cups even better.  I think they were around $3.

Ok so this guy wasn't on a deal or anything and it is definitely a splurge.  I have been wanting a robo vaccuum for a while now and I had the the opportunity to test a BobSweep.  We got the PetHair Plus version and have been super happy with him.  It takes some figuring out on how to set him up and make sure everything is situated but I haven't had the actually run the vacuum over the whole house since we got him.  I still run it over places that are hard for him to get to or rooms that I block off because I'm afraid he will get lost but we love Bob.  Yes we call him Bob and we talk to him like a person sometimes.  If you are looking for a robo vaccuum BobSweep is one to check out.  Also customer service is awesome.

You may have seen these on my instagram but I picked these up at the Banana Republic Outlets on a trip with my husband for less than $10.  They are so chic and I love the oversized fit.

I love the classic look of Adidas shoes and also I love how wearing comfy shoes is on trend.  I picked up this gray pair from DSW for less than $20 and I'm obsessed with them!  They are super comfy and look really chic.  They have so many colors!

Five Things Friday

It's been a while since I have shared my weekly favorites and I figured it was time to bring it back...I also had a good number of things I really wanted to share.

O-Venture Keyring: I have seen these guys all over instagram and was interested in them.  The ladies were really sweet and sent one over so I could try it out, y'all I love it!  These are leather key rings that are big enough to slip over your wrists.  Honestly they are super awesome and I am obsessed!  My husband even remarked on the usefulness of it when he drove my car the other day.  They are a little pricey but the quality is amazing!

Adair Sandals: In case you missed my post on getting these Jack Rogers for less than $20, check it out here.  I picked the natural cork color and I am obsessed with them!  They were super comfy from the get-go, which is different from all my other Jacks.  Typically they take a little while to break in. They also have a rubberized bottom on the leather so they aren't slippery on the floor.  Definitely thankful for that as I have slipped quite a few times in my other Jacks. Jack Rogers are high quality sandals and I know they are going to last for years so for under $20 you absolutely can't beat it!     

Bobsweep: This was another instagram find, I saw a few people talking about them and looked into what Bobsweep was all about.  I have been wanting a Roomba for years and this guy was another option.  They were really great and sent one to me to try out, I'm hooked.  I set Bob up and he just goes!  I can chill out or work on other home projects and Bob will vacuum my floor, such a time saver.  Yes he gets stuck sometimes and his charge definitely doesn't last long enough to do the whole house but for not being able to always vacuum myself I'm all about Bob!

The Kitchen Boy A Novel of the Last Tsar: I have been really interested in the Romanav family since watching Anastasia when I was little.  It is such an interesting story and something I realized I didn't know a lot of details about.  This book dives into the capture of the Romanavs and their tragic story told through the eyes of the kitchen boy.  He claims to be the last living witness of the tragic murder of the Romanav family and sets out to tell the dark secrets surrounding their deaths.  It is a fictional book but filled with historical facts.  I was so interested in the story and ended up looking up more details on the actual events in history surrounding the Romanavs.  If you are interested in Anastasia or historical fiction check this book out!

Important date art: I got this beautiful date art pieces from Wishfulinkling Designs on etsy and I love it!  She sells just the prints so you have to get your own frame but Michael's or Hobby Lobby have you covered.  Each print is a special date and location, I decided to showcase where we met, got engaged and where we got married.  I love the timeline it shows and the going back and thinking about those places and times in our life.

I have been a fan of Jack Rogers for years, great quality and such a classic look.  They are usually pretty pricey so I only have one pair.  I can't believe I have been missing out on DSW deals until this year, they have some really great sales!  I saw these and ended up ordering the natural cork ones, Jack Rogers for less than $25...y'all that doesn't happen often.  These would also make a really great gift idea, never too early to think about Christmas.

It has been a while since I have done one of these and I have missed it!  Check out what I have been loving this week (longer than that really).

Kacey Musgraves Golden Hour: I was really surprised by how much I loved this album.  It is easy to listen to and I love her voice, plus the songs are really good.  Some of my favorites are "Space Cowboy", "Slow Burn", "Love is a Wild Thing" and "Wonder Woman" but I can listen to the whole album and I like every song...that doesn't happen often.

Braided Booties: I showed these in my shopping haul and I have been wearing them nonstop.  They are so comfy and the perfect spring transitional shoe.  I am seriously obsessed with them and so glad I got them!

Prints: If you haven't picked up on it yet, I love personalized things.  I saw these fun state/city prints at Signet Sealed on etsy and fell in love!  They are like a collage of the state and I am all about them.  Sarah, the creator is adorable and sent three of her pieces for me to check out.  I picked three places that we have lived in/close to.  I love all the details and am so excited to display them.

Coffee: Coconut and coffee, two of my favorites.  This coffee was raved about by one of my coworkers and I finally tried it.  It is my favorite!!  Not an overwhelming flavor and you still get a coffee flavor.

Wireless Earphones: These have been a long time coming, I had a cheap pair that was more trouble than they were worth (which wasn't a lot).  These are awesome!  I have been wearing them to the gym and love not having to deal with a cord.  Also the battery lasts all week.  Definitely recommend and they were super affordable!

These shoes are a little out of my comfort zone but I love the leopard.  I went to the Atlanta Market a couple of weeks ago and the lady at the Naughty Monkey booth had these on and she looked so chic.  I found them on DSW and combined a sale they were having with my DSW reward and a gift card.  I ended up paying less than $10 for these beauties.  They are super comfy and I'm hoping I rock them half as well as that stylish lady. ;)

What I Got for Christmas

Christmas has come and gone, this year it felt like it absolutely flew by.  I am always sad to see it go but excited to start the new year.  If you are a youtube fan I'm sure you have seen the crazy amount of What I Got For Christmas videos, these are some of my favorite videos to watch so I figured I would share what I got for Christmas: 

Cross Hoop Earrings- I am in love with these!  I wore them pretty much the whole time we were traveling for Christmas.

Wonder Woman- Girl Power!!  If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it, Gal Gadot is awesome!

FitBit Changable Straps: I got a new FitBit for Christmas and I love the fact that you can change the straps!  These two are perfect for dressing it up a little bit. 

Planner: I always love getting a new planner for Christmas.  This one is from Michael's and is small enough to fit in my bag but still big enough to actually plan things, also this one is so cute!

Chick-Fil-A Calendar Card: If you know me you know Chick-Fil-A is my fast food restaurant of choice.  I love getting a calendar card because it is the gift that gives all year.  You get a free item every month and I love it. 

Chenille Cardigan: I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while and am so excited to finally have it!  It is so soft and cozy.

Boxercraft Sherpa Vest: This vest is one of my favorites!  My husband picked this one up for me and it is so soft! 

Whipstitch Saddle Bag: I am obsessed with this bag!  It looks just like the Rebecca Minkoff version. 

FitBit Alta HR: New FitBit!!  This was something I really wanted and am so excited to have a new one!  I love the slim version and the fact that you can change the straps. 

Duck Boots: I have been wanting a pair of duck boots for a while and am so excited to finally have a pair! 

Espresso Machine: I am so excited to have an espresso machine to make my own lattes, americanos, cappuccinos...give me all the coffee!!!

Sunglasses: Always love a good pair of sunglasses.  These are such a nice print and look so chic. 

Love Knot Bangle: My sweet husband picked this one up for me and I love it!!  It is so pretty to layer or wear on its own. 

Sherpa Pullover: Y'all I have been living in this guy!  It is so crazy soft and warm.  I already want another one...

Target and Rue21 Clearance Haul

I recently went to Target and they had SO many things on clearance!!!  I am all about the clearance.  To make things even better Target cartwheel had an extra 20% off clearance.  Which if you aren't using cartwheel go download it now, it will change your shopping there! 

Anyway here's what I picked up on this trip:

How cute are these rainboots??  They had these in the regular section as well in a new glossy version.  I actually prefer this matte floral version better.  They were so cute and less than $10!!

I am so in love with these brown and ivory slides.  They are so pretty and chic.  I am so in love with them.  They have just a slight baby wedge for a little extra umph.

Alright these are going to be a love hate thing, my husband hates them.  I have been looking for a pair of buckled sandals because they are so comfortable.  These guys were on clearance and I'm not in love with the flag print but they are really comfortable.  I am planning a little diy with them to redo the flag print to something a little more me.

These are probably my favorite find, and also my most expensive.  I had been eyeing these blush satin sneakers for a while and they finally got on clearance!  They are super comfy and look like a Steve Madden dupe.  They also have a burgundy velvet pair that I have on my wishlist.

I also ran by Rue21 randomly and found two pieces of jewelry for $1 each!

They are both long necklaces with a really pretty stone pendant.

They were originally $10 and I can't wait to pair them with a plain sweater this fall.

Fashion Finds and More at Walmart (High end dupes!)

Guys Walmart has been killing it lately with their fashion finds!  I have always been a fan of Walmart, low prices and you can pick up everything you need at one place.  It had been a while since I had taken the time to wander around and check out all the new items so I was really excited to check it out.  Walmarts do tend to differ in there stock so I will link to products available online if I find them!

How cute are these quilted shoes??  They look like the Steve Madden version and are $14.88, great deal compared to the $60 Steve Madden version.  Available online in olive and pink.

They also had velvet lace up sneakers that are so trendy!  These are also a Steve Madden dupe for $16.88.  Oh and the laces are ribbon, how sweet!  Available online here.

These lace up velvet flats are so chic!  Perfect for dressing up an outfit.  Available online here.

These slip on mules are on trend at the moment and these are only $22.84.  Perfect for testing out the trend.  Somehow these are cheaper online ($16.98!!) if you get them in store get them to price match!

These hats are so fun!  So many options, how cute is that burger and fries??

They also had a good selection in the clothing department.  These lace up tops are gorgeous!  They are available online for $15.

Colored skinnies and flowy sweaters are perfect for easy fall outfits.

Embroidery has hit Walmart y'all!  This pretty denim top is so fun and less than $15!!  It is available online here.

If you have been on instagram then you have probably seen these light boxes and letter boards.  I have seen them at Hobby Lobby and Target for close to $20.  Walmart comes through again and has them for less than $10!!  Run don't walk I have heard they have been going fast.  They have them online but they sell out quick.  Get the letterboard here and the light box here.  They also had all kinds of really cute expansion packs for even more letter choices. 

How cute are these printed wristlets?  So many designs to choose from!

These bags are gorgeous!!  The stitching is so pretty and the quality is awesome.  This bag is a little pricey for Walmart ($35) but the details are gorgeous!  Such a pretty bag for fall.  This is another one that is cheaper online ($22), go order now!! 

These travel mugs are so cute and for $5 you can't beat it!  Perfect for gifts or to pick up for yourself.

Tassel earrings have hit Walmart, I repeat tassel earrings have hit Walmart!  These are very trendy right now and so fun to dress up an outfit.

I am a cardigan junkie and these are perfect for fall!  I couldn't find the exact ones online but this one is pretty close and a little cheaper.

I had seen these baskets on instagram and had to scout them out for myself.  They are around $3 each and really nice.  Those copper colored ones are my favorite.  These also come in packs of two which makes it so much better, you can order them here.

Walmart has never been my first choice for home decor but I now have to put it on the list.  They had a good selection of farmhouse/rustic decor pieces.  This mason jar art is so cute!  You can also order this online here for $14.88, such a great deal!  

One of my favorite finds were these Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac dupes.  They are around $13 and come in lots of different colors.  I am loving the olive and blush.  They do have these online here but only in two colors.

Velvet is a big trend of the moment and Walmart wasn't going to let that pass by.  I am in love with these velvet backpacks!  They feel so nice and are less than $20!!  You can order online here.
