Friday Favorites

It has been so long since I have done a favorites post but I have rounded up a few things that I wanted to share:

Cow Print Popsocket: I saw this on instagram and had to have it!  Kyle got it for me for Christmas and it is my FAVORITE popsocket!  I'm all about cow print.

Twist Hoop Earrings: These are my go-to earrings at the moment, I haven't taken them out since I got them!  I love a good pair of huggie earrings and these are so nice!  They give me David Yurman vibes and they are less than $12!

Blue Light Glasses: Working on the computer all the time I need a good pair of blue light glasses to protect my eyes.  This pair is my new favorite.  They feel like really great quality and have some weight but don't hurt my ears.  I also like that they don't have a crazy yellow tint like some glasses do.

CeraVe Lotion: With all the dry air plus just having crazy pregnant hormones my skin has been crazy dry!  I have tried quite a few lotions and none seemed to really combat the dryness totally.  We have all seen the commercials but this stuff is great!  My skin stopped having that annoying peeling dryness and my skin has been smoother.

Steve Madden Sneakers: I have been eyeing these sneakers for over a year and they finally went on an amazing sale at DSW!  I combined a sale with reward points and got them for less than $30!  They are the perfect go with anything shoe and are super comfy.  They also give off that Golden Goose trendy dirty sneaker look for WAY less!

That wraps up my favorites, let me know if you have tried any of these things and what you have been loving lately!

2nd Trimester Recap

We just hit 30 weeks and rolling into the third trimester, it's getting so close!

We had our second ultrasound where we had the anatomy scan.  She is still hanging out pretty low and didn't want to show her face off.  We did finally get a picture of her sweet little face.

We also found out that we were expecting a little girl!  We had a genetic test done earlier in the pregnancy that was able to tell the gender by having blood drawn.  We had the gender in an envelope and didn't peek.  My brother in law had the honors of looking at the envelope and making sure we had the correct confetti poppers.  As you can see in the video my popper actually didn't go off, I was so surprised to see pink confetti that I didn't even notice at first.

It was such a fun experience to share with family.  We are so excited for our little girl!

Symptoms
Definitely experiencing acid reflux and as she is getting bigger she is taking up more and more room.  The shortness of breath is real.

Cravings:
Not a lot of cravings or food aversions, I definitely still want Mexican food all the time and Taco Bell always sounds good ;)

 Kicks:
I started feeling little flutters around 16-18 weeks, not sure if it was the baby or not.  Now she is kicking like crazy!  It is so weird but also so neat to feel those kicks!

My bump just started to pop a little bit and now it just keeps on popping for sure!

Being pregnant during a pandemic is definitely a different experience.  I'm sad that Kyle hasn't been able to go to appointments, we haven't been able to share a lot of things with our families.  Even with everything being crazy we are so excited to welcome this little baby.
