What I bought on Amazon

I have been really enjoying watching Amazon hauls on youtube, there are so many things available I like to see what people pick out.  Here are my most recent purchases:

1. Computer Glasses: I have been eyeing (haha) these glasses for a while now.  I have heard so much about how staring at a computer or phone sends blue light to your eyes which can be damaging after extended exposure.  I have only had these for a few days but I like them so far.  They are definitely yellow tinted but they seem to block out the blue and they are really lightweight and comfy.

2. Phone Case: For those of you who don't know I have an Android phone, my husband and I are on the GoogleFi plan.  I like my Android just fine but there aren't a lot of cute cases...this is about as cute as I could find.  The gold is fun and with a popsocket I can add some character.

3. Headphones: I have been wanting a pair of wireless headphones ever since my husband got a pair for Christmas.  They make it to much easier to listen to music at the gym, no annoying cords.  These were on a great deal and they are working out perfectly!

4. Coffee: I have talked about this coffee before, it is my absolute favorite!!  Great flavor but not bitter.  I usually pick it up at Publix but it was actually cheaper on Amazon.

5. Cassette Adapter: Going old school, I still have a cassette player in my car (I do have a CD player as well so not that old).  I recently discovered my old iPod and wanted to play it in my car on trips.  All my old cords were broken so I figured I would give this one a try.

Splurge vs. Save: Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac

Love Rebecca Minkoff but don't want to spend the $100??  I found a pretty close dupe at Wal-Mart...yep Wal-Mart.

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac: This is the classic Rebecca Minkoff bag, perfect for everyday and such an easy bag to throw on with every outfit.  At almost $200 it is a little bit of a splurge.

Vivian Crossbody: I spotted this dupe in store and couldn't believe how nice it was.  Granted it doesn't have the stud details on the strap or bottom of the bag but the other details are pretty close.  For less than $15 you really can't beat it!  They also have it in a few more colors.

Five Things Friday

Keira Nicole Jewelry: I saw these on instagram and immediately fell in love with their simplistic yet classy design.  I love a good personalized piece of jewelry and these are gorgeous.  I picked out the initial necklace and two initial beaded bracelets (one with my initial and the other with my husbands).  I have been wearing them nonstop.  I love how dainty they are and can be paired with anything, I have really been enjoying layering them with other jewelry.

Tassel Crossbody: My mom picked this bag up for my birthday from Walmart and I am in love with it!  It looks like a Kate Spade but guys this one is less than $15!!  Great quality and holds everything I need.

The Crown: I started watching this show last month when I was sick for a couple of days.  I am on season two now and am obsessed!  If you haven't heard of this show it follows the life of Queen Elizabeth and how she became queen.  It is such a well done show, you feel for her in her struggles and you cheer in her triumphs.  The acting is great and the historical drama gets me every time.  If you have Netflix I highly recommend!

Coconut Caramel Latte Creamer: I saw someone post about this on instagram and being a coconut lover I had to try it out.  It isn't overly coconuty but you still get a little hint.  Very smooth and not too sweet.  I will definitely be repurchasing.

Camo Sneakers: These were another birthday gift and I love them!  I have been wanting a pair of camo sneakers for a while.  They are a great neutral shoe, comfy and the zipper detail is really fun.  They are also on sale right now for under $20!  If you do order them, they run a half size big.

What have you been loving this week?

Splurge vs. Save: Dolce Vita Baz Mule

Leopard is a neutral and I am all about it!
Dolce Vita Baz Espadrille Mules: These leopard mules are so cute, their stitching details are so pretty and obviously nicer than the dupe.

DV Elaine Espadrille Mules: Honestly I think I might prefer the dupes to the real thing.  I like the spot pattern and shape on this version a little bit better.  These shoes have been all over instagram and I fell like they are going to be pretty big for spring and summer.  I have a pair on my list.

What I Got for my Birthday

I recently turned 28 and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet...I did however get some pretty cute things that I wanted to share:

Leopard sandals: I have been eyeing these on Amazon since I saw someone wearing them on Instagram last year.  They are super comfy and I love a good leopard print, it's a neutral after all ;)

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah: This was the one thing I really wanted and my mom came through.  After reading The Nightingale Kristin Hannah became on of my absolute favorite authors.  I really didn't even know what this book was about but I knew it would be a good one.  I can't wait to start reading!

Camo Sneakers: Like leopard I consider camo a sort of neutral.  I just recently ordered a camo cardigan that I'm pretty excited about.  I have been really into slip on sneakers and these are really fun.  Super comfy with cute zipper detail.

Cognac Crossbody: If you saw my post on Gucci dupes this bag might look familiar.  I posted about the similarities between this bag and the soho bag.  I love the pebbled faux leather and the size is perfect.  It fits everything you need yet still small and easy to carry.

Starbucks Giftcard: Starbucks giftcards are always a good thing.  Now to decide what I want to spend it on...most likely the Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato.  What is your favorite drink?

Black Tassel Crossbody: My mom came through again with this designer inspired bag from Wal-Mart.  Some of the girls I work with asked me if it was a Kate Spade, it looks so similar.  The quality is pretty good and I am loving the tassel detail.  It also fits a lot of stuff for a small bag.

Gucci Dupes

If you are an instagram lover, like myself, then I am sure you have seen the thousands of Gucci bag stylings.  I love the classic look of the bags and how easily they dress up an outfit.  However, I am a thrifty girl and there is not way I am ever going to shell out $1,000 for a handbag...seriously that's crazy?!?!  Here's how you can get the look for SO MUCH LESS!!  (I actually didn't find these bags myself, I have a friend who picked up the quilted version and introduced me to this dupe, props to her!)  You know I am all about a good dupe!

These crossbody bags are from DSW (my store even had a few in stock).  They look really expensive and feel like butter.  I am loving the quilted version and just recently got mine in the mail.  I have also been eyeing the pebbled one and just might have to pick that one up too.  These bags are so gorgeous and at $25 you can't beat it.  Actually you can, if you are new to DSW make sure you sign up for emails and you will get a $10 off coupon...making this bag around $15!!

Splurge vs. Save: Chloe Marcie Satchel

Y'all know I am all about a good dupe, why pay more when you can get the same look for so much less??
Chloe Marcie: This bag is one of my favorite designer bags, my if only bag...I just could never (ever) spend almost $2K on a bag.  I love the shape and style of this bag and am constantly looking for bags that give the same look.

Destin Satchel: I finally found a dupe that comes pretty close.  Similar shape and details, the top handles are different but for the price I think I can live with the difference.  This one is from Sole Society comes in three colors and is $69.95  These sold out crazy fast last year so pick one up quick!!

Five Things Friday

I picked up these sneakers at Dirt Cheap (where else??) for $5!!  Guys I am obsessed with them.  They are a Steve Madden dupe, these are actually kid's shoes from Target.  They are a little crazy but I love the pom pom detail and the texture it adds to an outfit.  They are so chic and fun!

I have had this case for a few months and it has definitely been a favorite.  Me and my husband are on the GoogleFi plan so we have Google phones.  I have the Nexus 6P and there aren't that many cute cases.  This one is sturdy but has a chic gold edge detail.  I have a popsocket on the back so it adds a fun touch.

Guys this thing is awesome!!  My mom gave me this in my stocking for Christmas and I am obsessed!!  I would always use a spatula to chop ground meat but this tool makes everything so much easier.

"A million dreams are keeping me awake", and so are these songs!  I have been listening to this soundtrack non-stop.  If you read my Five Things Friday post last week you saw my love for the movie.  I can listen to the whole thing over and over, there isn't a song I don't like.  My absolute favorites are: "A Million Dreams", "Never Enough", "Other Side" and "Tightrope".  What are your favorites??

I ordered this one for store pickup and ended up paying less than $15!!  It is so buttery soft and looks expensive.  I love the tassel and chevron detail.  It is small enough to be convenient but holds enough stuff for everyday.  If you are looking for a crossbody check this one out!

What have you been loving lateley?

Five Things Friday

The Greatest Showman:  This movie!!  My mom and sister said I had to see it so I talked my husband into going with me.  I am so glad I did, it was absolutely wonderful!!  The cinematography was beautiful, storyline, acting, music everything was great!  "A celebration of humanity" is a great description, it was simply wonderful.  I have been listening to the soundtrack pretty much non-stop and am obsessed.  If you are a fan of musicals, I highly recommend it.  My husband (who isn't a big musical fan) didn't hate it.  Have you seen it?  Let me know in a comment what your favorite song is.

Love Knot Bracelet:  This was a gift from my husband and I love how dainty it is and easy to wear.  I have really been enjoying wearing bracelets lately and this one is so cute.

Whipstitch Saddle Bag: Another Christmas present that has been on repeat since I got it.  I love how expensive this bag looks (seriously just like the Rebecca Minkoff version).  It is really small but I am adjusting.

Sherpa Vest: Y'all this vest is crazy soft!  I have been throwing this on over all my basics for a little extra warmth and texture.  These vests are usually pretty expensive but I found this one for less than $30.

Cross Hoop Earrings: I didn't think I would be a hoop girl but I actually really like these.  They are super comfortable and add just a little extra to an outfit.  I have had these on repeat as well.

What have you been loving lately?

What I Got for Christmas

Christmas has come and gone, this year it felt like it absolutely flew by.  I am always sad to see it go but excited to start the new year.  If you are a youtube fan I'm sure you have seen the crazy amount of What I Got For Christmas videos, these are some of my favorite videos to watch so I figured I would share what I got for Christmas:

Wonder Woman- Girl Power!!  If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it, Gal Gadot is awesome!

FitBit Changable Straps: I got a new FitBit for Christmas and I love the fact that you can change the straps!  These two are perfect for dressing it up a little bit.

Planner: I always love getting a new planner for Christmas.  This one is from Michael's and is small enough to fit in my bag but still big enough to actually plan things, also this one is so cute!

Chick-Fil-A Calendar Card: If you know me you know Chick-Fil-A is my fast food restaurant of choice.  I love getting a calendar card because it is the gift that gives all year.  You get a free item every month and I love it.

Chenille Cardigan: I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while and am so excited to finally have it!  It is so soft and cozy.

Whipstitch Saddle Bag: I am obsessed with this bag!  It looks just like the Rebecca Minkoff version.

Duck Boots: I have been wanting a pair of duck boots for a while and am so excited to finally have a pair!

Espresso Machine: I am so excited to have an espresso machine to make my own lattes, americanos, cappuccinos...give me all the coffee!!!

Sunglasses: Always love a good pair of sunglasses.  These are such a nice print and look so chic.

Love Knot Bangle: My sweet husband picked this one up for me and I love it!!  It is so pretty to layer or wear on its own.

Sherpa Pullover: Y'all I have been living in this guy!  It is so crazy soft and warm.  I already want another one...

What did you get for Christmas?

"Tomorrow is Christmas, it's practically here!"  It sure feels like it, thanks goodness we have a few more days to get everything ready.  I know I always have a few people that I struggle till the last minute to decide what to get them.
I found a few things (all from Wal-Mart) that I wouldn't mind getting myself as ideas for last minute gifts.  I have seen these in stores but if you don't want to brave them Wal-Mart offers 2 day shipping, which is awesome and perfect for last minute shopping.  Bonus all these picks are designer inspired items all less than $25!!

Ring Crossbody: Ring details have been super trendy this year...thanks Chloe.  This one is less than $15, comes in two different colors and is gorgeous!

Christmas Wishlist

I don't know about you but I love seeing what people want for Christmas.  I'm nosy and it also gives me some ideas for what I might want to ask for.  Here are a couple of things I am hoping for this year:

Chick-Fil-A calendar card: I ask for this every year because it's the gift that keeps giving.  If you haven't ever gotten a calendar card form Chick-Fil-A you are missing out.  These guys are less than $10 and you get around $40 worth of food and drinks.  Each month is a new deal anything from a free sandwich to a frosted lemonade.  If you love Chick-Fil-A like I do this is perfect!

Duck Boots: I have been wanting a pair of duck boots for a while and wasn't sure if I would get use out of them.  There has now been enough times when I wished I had a pair for an outfit that I felt like I needed them in my closet.  Perfect for rain or snow and they are really cute!

Olive Booties: I love booties, I have quite he collection.  I have been seeing a lot of olive booties styled lately and really like the look.  I have a light olive but would really like a dark olive pair.

Chenille Cardigan: Unless you have been living under a rock you know that chenille is all the rage right now.  Super soft and cozy, I'm all about it.  This chenille cardi is from JCPenny, comes in three colors and I am in love!

Fitbit Alta HR: I have had my Charge HR for almost two years and it is about to bite the dust.  It is peeling, doesn't sync and the clock is way off...I think it's time for a new one.

Druzy bracelets: I am really loving bracelets at the moment, especially druzy stones.  I love the natural chic feel they add to an outfit.  This one is less than $10!

Kristin Hannah The Great Alone: Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors and this is her most recent book that I haven't read yet.  You be it's on my wishlist!

Espresso Maker: A coffee maker that makes coffeehouse quality espresso at home...sign me up.  My mother-in-law has this model and it works great.  It even has a milk frother so you can get real fancy with your lattes and all.

Gucci Belt: Ok, so this isn't an actual Gucci belt...I could never spend that much on a belt much less ask someone else to.  I found this one on amazon for around $15.  Yeah it's probably not the best quality but I can deal.  I have seen so many instagram posts styling these belts that I fell into the trap.

Turquoise Earrings: Statements earrings are making a comeback and these turquoise ones stole my heart.  I love turquoise (blame it on my inner cowgirl) and these give a Kendra Scott vibe for less than $10.

What are you hoping to get for Christmas?  Let me know in a comment below!

Black Friday Haul

Here is my obligatory Black Friday shopping haul.  It's a little late, I wanted to wait till after Cyber Monday in case I picked up anything else.  I did the majority of my shopping online this year (nothing better than shopping in your jammies).  My cousin-in-law is a die hard Black Friday shopper so when we are with them for Thanksgiving we get a group together and go.  Technically we didn't even go "Black Friday" shopping because we went on Thursday.
Most of the places we went weren't too crazy (except Target, that place was a mess) so it was like normal holiday shopping. Here's what I got:

Velvet Leggings: I have been wanting a pair of velvet leggings since last year.  I have seen them styled on instagram and thought they looked really cute.  I ordered these from Rue21, they were on sale for $5 and had free shipping so I snagged them.  Good thing because later that day they were all sold out.  I just got these in the mail and they are great quality and so soft!

Tortoise Sunglasses: These sunglasses were a random buy.  I stumbled on H&M's website since they were doing free shipping and 30% off.  I saw these sunglasses and loved the classic shape, I also really love tortoiseshell.  I picked these up for $8.

Embroidered Booties: Y'all these boots!!  I'm in love!  Rue21 got me again.  They had another sale so I was browsing online and I had to get these.  I have really been loving the embroidery trend.  These ended up being $15.

Nude Eyeshadow Palette: Another random find, I loved the packaging on this eyeshadow palette and the colors looked really pretty.  It definitely reminds me of the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette...except it was $3.  I haven't swatched it yet but you can't beat that price.

Chenille Cardigan: I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while now.  I love that chenille has made a comeback, it is so soft and cuddly.  I initially wanted this cardigan in the mustard gold color but they didn't have my size so I picked the midnight color.  It was on sale for $19.99 and my sweet mother-in-law picked it up for me for Christmas.

Christmas Tree: This was our BIG Black Friday purchase and the one we had to rush in for.  I finally talked my husband into getting an artificial tree this year.  Michael's had this one on a doorbuster sale for $89.99.  It has pretty flocking and you can change the lights from clear to colored.  I can't wait to put it up!

FitBit Alta HR: I have ran my fitbit to the ground.  I wear it everyday and it is falling apart.  I really needed a new one.  Santa...aka my husband actually picked this one up for me.  Kohl's had them on super deal for $99.99 plus you got $30 in Kohl's cash and we had a gift card.  He ended up getting this guy for around $30!!  Now I am supposed to forget I ever saw it...

Planner: I always love getting a new planner for Christmas, helps to start the year off right.  This one was so pretty and it was on a great deal at Michael's.  They are usually $19.99 but were 60% off and then an extra 30% off because we were there when the store opened on Thursday night.  I can't wait to use it to start planning out the New Year.

Leopard Mules: My last find were these chic leopard mules.  I have really been enjoying the mule trend (comfy and cute) and wanted another pair.  I love leopard print, it's totally a neutral.  This pair was on sale at Forever21 for $8.  They aren't the best quality around but for less than $10, I can deal.

I also picked up a chunk of Christmas gifts but I don't want to show them here just in case.  Did you go Black Friday shopping?  Did you shop online or brave the store?  Let me know down below, I'd also love to know your favorite deal find you picked up.

Friday Favorites

Next week is Thanksgiving, how did that even happen???  I'm excited to spend some time with family, eat lots of delicious food and get out my Christmas decorations!

Harvest Bagels: I discovered my absolute favorite bagels!  These are limited edition from Aldi and since they are seasonal I have been stocking up and enjoying them while I can.  They are multi-grain bagels with cranberries and seeds.  I love the slightly sweet flavor and the texture from the seeds.  If you have an Aldi check these out, they also have pumpkin spice ones but these are the best!

Embroidered Tapestry Mules: I found these beautiful embroidered mules on clearance at Target a while back for $7!  Mules have made a major comeback and are super trendy at the moment.  I love the embroidered tapestry detail and for the price I couldn't pass them up.  I have really been enjoying pairing them with more simple outfits.  My husband really dislikes them and calls them my "grandma" shoes, he just doesn't get the style.

Swap Consignment: I have been a fan of swap consignment for a while now and am always checking to see if they have any interesting items on their site.  Swap is an online consignment store so you can thrift from your couch.  I have found so many different items and really nice brands.  I just placed an order and got so many cute things!  Let me know if you would like to see a haul.  If you are interested in purchasing for yourself us the code 25FALLFUN for 25% off your purchase, you also get free shipping on your first purchase!

Kelsea Ballerini Unopologetically: Country music is my absolute favorite!  Kelsea Ballerini is a relatively new artist and I am really excited to see her starting to make it big.  I got to see her perform with Shania Twain at Stagecoach earlier this year and she was adorable!  This is her second album and it is really good.  It is giving me old school Taylor Swift vibes and I'm not mad at it.

Slippers: I have a thing for slippers and these are my favorite of the moment.  They are Target but I picked them up from Dirt Cheap for $3!!  They are so fluffy and warm and I love them!  They would be a great Christmas gift.

Let me know what has been going on in your life and what you are excited about for Thanksgiving!

Five Things Friday

Five Things Friday

Spiral Hair Ties: A girl at work was raving about these, so I figured it was time I tried them out.  I was afraid they would hurt my hair but they are awesome!  They hold your hair tight but don't leave a mark.  They are available pretty much everywhere, give them a try.  Also I heard to put them in your shower if they loose their spring.

Dear Hate by Maren Morris and Vince Gill: I love Maren Morris, she is so talented.  She recorded this song a while ago but released it in honor of the Las Vegas tragedy.  It is such a beautiful tribute to overcoming tragedy and the underlying love in the world.  The basis of the song is biblical, talking about the devil's temptation in the garden and how God's love persisted even after the temptation was taken.  It is a beautiful song speaking of God's forgiveness and how He is our hope in this world.

Canoe No Show Socks: I have been looking for no-show socks for a while and these were a great find!  I caught them on clearance at Walmart for $2 for a pack of four.  They have the rubber grip at the back to hold to your heel.  I really like the longer front that covers the top of your foot, more comfortable for sneakers.

Wood Art:  These art pieces from Rustic Love Addiction on etsy are my new favorites!!  They are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to find a spot in our home.  The wood is quality and have been hand painted.  If you are looking for farmhouse, rustic decor items check them out.  They are beautiful quality and affordable.

Faux Fur Blanket: Y'all this blanket was such a great clearance find!  I have been looking for a faux faux fur blanket for a while and this one is beautiful!  It is normally $20 at Walmart but I caught it on clearance for $6.  It is so soft and I love the look of it draped over a couch or bed.

Fall Essentials

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.  All the beautiful leaves, chilly temperatures and lots of layers!  Check out some of my fall favorites:

Mulled Cider Candle: This candle is less than $5 and it is amazing!!  It smells just as good as the $20 candles but so cheap.  This one burns well and is the perfect fall candle.  Similar to leaves but a little sweeter.

Oversized Sweaters: I love cuddling up in an oversized sweater and throwing on some boots. It's an easy outfit, super comfy yet still looks put together.

TV Shows:  I love cuddling on the couch catching up on TV shows.  Poldark is my favorite fall show!  If you haven't watched it yet and you were a fan of Downton Abbey check it out!

Berry and Dark Nail Polish:  I get really excited to paint my nails in the fall, I love the dark colors ad berry shades.  Angora Cardi is one of my absolute favorites!  It is a perfect berry shade that goes with everything.

Booties:  Years ago I used to be scared of booties...I felt like they would cut off my legs and make them even shorter.  I'm so glad I ended up giving them a try, they are so versatile.  They are perfect to throw on with jeans, leggings, or dresses.  These Lucky Brand Basel booties are my favorite!  They are the perfect shade of cognac and the leather is like butter. If you are looking for a pair of booties that will last these are a winner.

Cozy Blankets: I picked up this faux fur blanket for less than $10 and it is so snuggly!  As I mentioned before I love cuddling up on the couch with a cozy blanket and reading or catching up on a show.  I love when the weather gets chilly and it is finally comfortable to snuggle up in a blanket.

Country Music: I love country music all year round but for some reason country music is my absolute favorite in the fall.  I think it has something to do with the fairs being in the fall and the country music takes me back to those moments.

Pullover: My Patagonia pullover is perfect for chilly weather.  I absolutely love throwing this on running errands or just hanging out.

Warm Perfume:  Something about chilly weather makes me reach for warmer scents.  I have a few that I rotate through but Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black is my go to cold weather perfume.  It is my absolute favorite!

Slippers: Random fact about me, my feet get really cold.  I always have slippers on when it gets cold.  This pair from Target is my new favorite.  They are super soft and cozy and I love how sturdy they are.

What are your favorite things for fall?

Jack Rogers Lauren Splurge vs Steal

Y'all I am a fan of Jack Rogers.  I got my first pair after I graduated college and wore them to death.  My first pair actually just broke and I have to figure out how to get it fixed...if you have any tips let a girl know.  I have only had the original flip flop version but had my eye on the two strap Lauren.  I was randomly shopping on Walmart and found these cork two strap sandals that give you the same look.  Obviously they are not real leather and the quality is much lower.  They have a strap in the back but I ended up cutting off to make it look even more like the real deal.  If you are a fan of Jack Rogers but don't want to pay the high price go check out these and let me know what you think!  P.S. I usually wear a 6.5 and got a 7, they fit great.

Five Things Friday

Thomas Rhett Life Changes Album: Yes new music!  Thomas Rhett has been one of my favorite new artists so I was really excited to see he released a new album!  This one is great, he is so adorable, if you don't believe me check out the track "Life Changes".  Some of my favorites are "Marry Me", "Grave", "Unforgettable", and "Leave Right Now".  I'm loving the feel and sound of the album and have really been enjoying this one.

How I Met Your Mother: Yep it's back!  I have been wanting to re-watch this show for a while and just got the whim to start this week.  If you haven't watched this show you definitely need to!  It is one of my favorites, I like it better than Friends.  The characters develop well, the story is creative and I just really enjoyed it.  I have heard rumors that they are taking it off Netflix at the end of fall (and I'm gutted) so binge watch while you can!!

Macaroons: Guys I discovered the absolute best macaroons I have ever tasted!  I have had macaroons before and enjoyed them but these are on another level!  They are light, have a crispy outer layer and creamy inner layer.  Tamara was really sweet and sent over six of the raspberry french macaroons to try and Kyle and I devoured them.  If you are a fan of macaroons or have been wanting to try them these are the ones to go for!  Try them out and let Tamara know I sent you :)

Torani White Chocolate Sauce: Y'all know I am a coffee lover.  I have seen a few recipes talking about this white chocolate sauce being a budget sub for Starbuck's white chocolate sauce.  While it isn't an exact match it is a nice substitute for a homemade white chocolate latte.  I have been making them on the weekends for a little treat and have really been enjoying them.  Let me know if you would be interested in a DIY White Chocolate Latte post.

Monogram Bag and Backpack: Being a southern girl I love a good monogram.  I recently discovered Krafty Chix and fell in love with their cute monogrammed accessories.  I have been eyeing the scallop monogram totes for a while and finally got my hands on one.  It holds a lot and looks really chic.  My only complaint is there are no pockets inside the bag but for a tote it's not a terrible thing.  I also had seen these little flap top backpacks on instagram and they had them available.  I love the crisp ivory and gold accents.  Check them out!

Five Things Friday

Quaker overnight oats:  I received two of these in my influenster box and thought it would be interesting.  I have made my own overnight oats before but this makes it so much easier!  You just pour milk in the night before and then you have breakfast ready for you when you wake up.  I love the coconut almond flavor!

So Delicious Coconut Milk Creamer: I have a thing for coconut it is no secret.  I picked this creamer up at Publix on a whim and have really been enjoying it.  It can have a slightly oily consistency being coconut milk but it isn't overpowering.  The flavor is good, I am not the biggest fan of vanilla creamer so I am on the lookout for a different flavor.

Quote Bracelets: I ordered these bracelets from aliexpress last month (check out my post here) and have been throwing them on o dress up my fitbit.  They are pretty good quality, I love the quotes and are adjustable.

The Story of Diana: This is a total random favorite thrown in but I just recently finished this documentary and had to share.  It was a two part special on ABC and is available to watch online for free.  My mom always had an interest in Princess Diana so that sparked my interest.  If you have any interest in Princess Diana watch this.  I learned so much about her life and the struggles she went through.  She was such an interesting woman.  The way she used her fame to help others even in the midst of her overpowering struggle with the press.  “Anywhere I see suffering, that is where I want to be, doing what I can.” – Princess Diana

Country Women T-Shirts: How cute are these shirts y'all??  I found these on etsy and fell in love.  I have always been a country fan and I love classic country.  One shirt has classic country women (Dolly, Loretta, Patsy and Tammy) and the other says "I was country when country wasn't cool" by Barbara Mandrell.  They are simple but perfect for adding a little country charm to your outfit.

Five Things Friday

Adidas Superstars: These shoes have been super trendy for a while but I didn't want to get the same ones that everyone else had.  I saw a girl with holographic ones at Disney World and went to searching for different options.  I found these metallic snakeskin ones and fell in love!  I love how they look plain black in some lights and in other light the sparkle metallic shows.  I found them online but they were sold out for months then randomly found them in my local Foot Locker.  They are a kid's size but are just like the adult version, I got a 4.5 for reference.  Oh and they are back in stock online so run don't walk!

Ebates: I had heard about this website for awhile but never took the plunge.  A friend was talking it up and sharing all the rebates she was getting for shopping.  I figured it wouldn't hurt to check it out.  Y'all this is the easiest way to make a little money.  I installed it on my browser so if a website has an ebates rebate it will alert you to turn it on, and you have to search hard to find a website that isn't supported.  After that all you do is shop like normal and you earn a percentage back.  I have only been using it for a few months and already got my first check in the mail.  You're not going to get rich with ebates but getting a little money back on purchases you are already making is pretty sweet.

e.l.f. Everyday Smoky Eyeshadow Palette: I recently uncovered this palette from my makeup pile and decided to give it a go.  I got it at Target months ago and hadn't really used it.  I have too much makeup.  I have been using it everyday.  It is pretty pigmented and the colors blend really nice.  It says the smokey eye palette but I have been using it to do everyday neutral looks.  For less than $10 I definitely recommend it.

Bible Verse Bracelet: I discovered the shop Dear Lisa on etsy and fell in love with the designs.  They are so rustic and fun.  I contacted her about a custom design and absolutely fell in love with her idea.  Ecclesiastes 4:12 is a special verse to me and my husband.  For our wedding we braided a cord to symbolize "a cord of three strands is not easily broken".  I mentioned this to Lisa and she came up with the sweetest design.  It is a spoon bracelet with the bible verse engraved as well as our wedding date.  I absolutely love it.  Check out her Instagram for more of her designs.

a.n.a. Torrence Hobo Bag: Y'all I have been searching for a new bag for while now and just happened to stumble on this one on clearance at JCPenny.  I loved the design and for less than $20 I figured I would give it a try.  I have been using this bag nonstop for a month and it has held up really well.  It holds a lot of stuff, which I love.  I also really like that it is crossbody and it can also be worn on my shoulder like a hobo bag.  It has lots of pockets, even one on the front which is perfect for stashing my phone.  It also looks pretty similar to the Marc Jacobs hobo bags, but for so so much cheaper.
