Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Looks for Less. Part 2 (Under $45)

  

Back at it with another roundup of Nordstrom looks for less.  I had so much fun looking for items for the first post that I found so many I decided to do a second post.  There are some MAJOR deals here!  I'm talking sweaters for $5 and super cute booties for less than $10!!  Don't miss out!

1. Booties: $35 These heeled faux leather booties are so flattering with the side cutout.  Perfect lookalike for a much pricier pair.

2. Button cardigan: $5 Here's the first major deal!  You just can't beat the price.  So fun and perfect buttoned or unbuttoned.  Also this brand is really nice (p.s. it is sold at Nordstrom).

3. Candle: $11 Yes to a pretty candle that smells good!  I'm over the candle prices at Bath & Bodyworks, these smell just as good and are so pretty for decor plus way more affordable.

4. Graphic tee: $15 Graphic tees are all the rage and they can get really pricey.  There are so many affordable options so you can snag a couple.

5. Sherpa pullover: $12 You can never have too many sherpa pullovers.  So comfy and cozy for cooler weather!  This one is a major steal and so cute!  Comes in other colors including a fun leopard print.

6. Faux suede jacket: $26 I love a draped jacket, so flattering.  This one is giving blanknyc vibes and I'm loving it.

7. Ruffle sweater: $5 Another MAJOR Steal!  I love the classic stripes and fun ruffle detail on the sleeves, don't miss out on this one!

8. Booties: $15 Everyone needs a classic white bootie in their closet.  So fun in the fall but also spring and summer with dresses and shorts.  Wear now and later.

9. Moto Jacket: $40 Another classic everyone needs in their closet.  I love a moto jacket for fall and winter.  Perfect with jeans or throwing on over a dress and booties.

10: Mock neck sweater: $5 Last sweater steal!  Such a crazy deal for a cozy sweater.  Again y'all this brand is sold at Nordstrom and is nice!

11. Booties: $8 I couldn't believe this price!  Less than $10 for a classic heeled bootie!  Such a STEAL!

Nordstrom Anniversary Looks For Less (Under $35!) Part 1

If you follow any fashion bloggers/influencers on social media you definitely know that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going on.  I am not a frequent Nordstrom shopper, I do browse their clearance occasionally but they have always been a little too pricey for me.  With the sale being such a hot topic I figured I would round up some pieces that give the Nordstrom vibe for WAY less.  All these items are less than $35.

1. Striped tote: $19 I have this one on my wishlist.  I love the classic stripe print.  There is a striped tote like this in the sale for SO much more.  This one is affordable and super cute!

2. Leopard pullover: $26 Giving off all the Barefoot Dreams vibes and who doesn't need a cozy leopard pullover in their life??

3. Mules: $27 There is a pair of chain mules in the sale that EVERYONE is talking about.  Now these don't have the bulky chain detail but they are a classic nude mule with gold bit that is sure to go with EVERYTHING!

4. Initial tag necklace: $11 These have been super popular for a while.  I love mine!  It looks great on its own or layered up with other necklaces.

5. Leopard slip-ons: $14 These shoes are sure to sell out!  I saw them in person at my Wal-Mart the other day and they are so comfy!  Slip-ons with a sherpa lining, perfect for comfort and warmth.

6. Cowl Neck Sweater: $16 You can't go wrong with a classic cowl neck sweater.  Size up for a more oversized fit or keep your true size for a more classic vibe.

7. Leopard Cardigan: $23 This cardigan looks so much more expensive than it is.  I love the pattern and the draped detail is so chic.

8. Peplum henley: $22 If it is a peplum I am down.  I love the waffle knit henley version of this one.

9. Leopard mules: $14 These come in a few other colors if leopard isn't your thing.  I love this pattern and the heel adds a little umph to your mule.

10. Stone charm bracelet: $16 So pretty!  Would look perfect on its own or layered up.  Gives me Kendra Scott vibes.

11. Leggings: $22 for a pack of 3!  These are a total steal!  I have heard they are similar to a Lululemon pair.

12. Peplum top: $8.99 Again you just can't go wrong with a peplum.  I love this relaxed top, may or may not be in my Amazon cart right now...

13. Booties: $32 There is a much more expensive pair of booties like these in the sale right now.  These are a total lookalike for a fraction of the price!  So flattering with the nude color, heel and cutout detail.

14. Leopard blanket: $34 A must-have for the Nordstrom sale every year!  This super soft blanket is such a good lookalike and it comes in multiple color options.

Splurge vs. Save: Valentino Rockstud Heels

I have been a fan of the coveted Valentino Rockstud style heels for years but would never pay almost $1,000 for a pair of heels.  DSW coming in with one of my favorite dupes!

Valentino Rockstud Slingback Heels $995 | Alright so the quality is there, leather and all.  I have heard from a few reviews that they are a not the most comfortable.

DSW Liraven Studded Pumps $39.99 | How close are these shoes?  I have been eyeing them for a while and finally just went ahead and purchased them and I have zero regrets!  They are gorgeous!  For heels they really aren't uncomfortable, I sized up 1/2 a size for a little more room.  The nude color is really flattering and the studs add just a little edge.  Now I just need somewhere to wear them...

Amazon Designer Dupe Gift Guide Under $50

I am all about the designer look for less, I may or may not have had quite a few dupes on my wishlist this year.  Here are some of my favorite dupes that would make perfect gifts, I believe all of them are prime finds so you can still get them in time!

Checkered makeup bag $9.99: I love this makeup bag!  So chic and trendy but also super useful. 

Star sneakers $34.90: Major trend and so stinking cute.  They have lots of different colors and patterns to choose from.  I do recommend sizing up 1/2 size as they run just a little small. 

T Crystal Bracelet $10.90: I love all the bangles and chic bracelets, so pretty layered up. 

Checkered bag $43.99:This one is gorgeous and so chic!  The perfect look for less.

Friday Favorites

Back with a Friday favorites!  These are the things I have been obsessed with lately and wanted to share them with you so you can share the obsession.

Twisted Cable Bracelet: I'm all about a good designer dupe, this twisted x cable bracelet is a new favorite for sure!  I love the look of the Yurman bracelets but that price is crazy high, these bracelets are $20 and I'm obsessed!  They feel great and fit my wrist really well.

Blame it on my roots top: If I can wear my boots I'm a happy girl.  I love my cowgirl boots.  As soon as I saw this top I knew I had to have it!  This color is so cute and the fit is great.  Super comfy and perfect for showing off my country side. 

Metallic snake sneakers: Meet my new favorite sneakers!!  I have been really enjoying the trendy Golden Goose inspired sneakers going around.  These have the cutest metallic snake print and just a little bit of sparkle.  They are really comfy and I have been pretty much living in them!  Don't miss out on these guys!

Rose lip gloss: I just picked up this gloss a few days ago and I am already in LOVE!!  I heard that it was a dupe for the FENTY Gloss Bomb so I really wanted to try it out.  It was on sale at Walgreens so I decided to pick it up.  Y'all this stuff feels amazing!!  It gives your lips a healthy, pretty glow but its not sticky at all.  

Better Call Saul: We recently finished Breaking Bad and needed another show so we started this one.  If you are a fan of Breaking Bad give this one a try.  It has the same style but more of a drama, not quite as harsh and intense as Breaking Bad.  I am really enjoying the exploration of characters from Breaking Bad that I liked, Saul being top.

Free People Dani Tank Dupe

Guys I found such a great dupe that I just had to share!  I have one of the Free People Dani Swing tanks that I picked up on sale (even on sale it was around $14.  I was browsing on Wet Seal and came across these Relaxation Tanks that look very similar, and they are $5!!  They have it in black and mocha.

Rae Dunn Mug Dupes at Walmart

I have always liked the simple style of Rae Dunn, cute messages on a coffee mug?  What's not to like?  These mugs are affordable but hard to find.  I stumbled on these Rae Dunn inspired mugs at Walmart and fell in love!!

They are less than $3 and hold A LOT of coffee!!

They had four different designs at my Walmart but I am hoping they come out with more!

I wanted them all but ended up picking up this Blessed one.  It is one of my new favorite mugs!

Gucci Dupes

If you are an instagram lover, like myself, then I am sure you have seen the thousands of Gucci bag stylings.  I love the classic look of the bags and how easily they dress up an outfit.  However, I am a thrifty girl and there is not way I am ever going to shell out $1,000 for a handbag...seriously that's crazy?!?!  Here's how you can get the look for SO MUCH LESS!!  (I actually didn't find these bags myself, I have a friend who picked up the quilted version and introduced me to this dupe, props to her!)  You know I am all about a good dupe!

These crossbody bags are from DSW (my store even had a few in stock).  They look really expensive and feel like butter.  I am loving the quilted version and just recently got mine in the mail.  I have also been eyeing the pebbled one and just might have to pick that one up too.  These bags are so gorgeous and at $25 you can't beat it.  Actually you can, if you are new to DSW make sure you sign up for emails and you will get a $10 off coupon...making this bag around $15!!        

Splurge vs. Save: Chloe Marcie Satchel

Y'all know I am all about a good dupe, why pay more when you can get the same look for so much less??

Chloe Marcie: This bag is one of my favorite designer bags, my if only bag...I just could never (ever) spend almost $2K on a bag.  I love the shape and style of this bag and am constantly looking for bags that give the same look.

Destin Satchel: I finally found a dupe that comes pretty close.  Similar shape and details, the top handles are different but for the price I think I can live with the difference.  This one is from Sole Society comes in three colors and is $69.95  These sold out crazy fast last year so pick one up quick!!

Too Faced Natural Palette Dupe for $4!!

I am all about getting a good deal and am all for a good dupe.  No shame in my dupe game.

I love the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette, my husband got it for me for my birthday one year.  I have had it for about two years and it is still going strong.  It is the perfect everyday palette and I pretty much always travel with it.

I was shopping on Forever21 for Black Friday and saw this Night and Day Eyeshadow palette.  First of all the packaging was so pretty and it definitely looks a lot like the Too Faced palette.  P.S. this is $3.99!!

Side by side they don't look exactly the same but swatched they are pretty close.

Here they are swatched, Forever21 is on top and Too Faced is on bottom.  As you can tell the colors are really similar.  Of course the Too Faced shadows are creamier and more pigmented, but the Forever21 shadows aren't bad.  The Too Faced palette is almost $40 while the Forever21 palette is pretty much 90% off at $3.99.  This would make a really great gift for someone just getting into makeup.  It is a really nice palette for neutral looks.

Christmas Wishlist

I don't know about you but I love seeing what people want for Christmas.  I'm nosy and it also gives me some ideas for what I might want to ask for.  Here are a couple of things I am hoping for this year:

Chick-Fil-A calendar card: I ask for this every year because it's the gift that keeps giving.  If you haven't ever gotten a calendar card form Chick-Fil-A you are missing out.  These guys are less than $10 and you get around $40 worth of food and drinks.  Each month is a new deal anything from a free sandwich to a frosted lemonade.  If you love Chick-Fil-A like I do this is perfect!   

Duck Boots: I have been wanting a pair of duck boots for a while and wasn't sure if I would get use out of them.  There has now been enough times when I wished I had a pair for an outfit that I felt like I needed them in my closet.  Perfect for rain or snow and they are really cute!  

Olive Booties: I love booties, I have quite he collection.  I have been seeing a lot of olive booties styled lately and really like the look.  I have a light olive but would really like a dark olive pair.  

Chenille Cardigan: Unless you have been living under a rock you know that chenille is all the rage right now.  Super soft and cozy, I'm all about it.  This chenille cardi is from JCPenny, comes in three colors and I am in love! 

Fitbit Alta HR: I have had my Charge HR for almost two years and it is about to bite the dust.  It is peeling, doesn't sync and the clock is way off...I think it's time for a new one.  

Druzy bracelets: I am really loving bracelets at the moment, especially druzy stones.  I love the natural chic feel they add to an outfit.  This one is less than $10! 

Kristin Hannah The Great Alone: Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors and this is her most recent book that I haven't read yet.  You be it's on my wishlist! 

Espresso Maker: A coffee maker that makes coffeehouse quality espresso at home...sign me up.  My mother-in-law has this model and it works great.  It even has a milk frother so you can get real fancy with your lattes and all.  

Gucci Belt: Ok, so this isn't an actual Gucci belt...I could never spend that much on a belt much less ask someone else to.  I found this one on amazon for around $15.  Yeah it's probably not the best quality but I can deal.  I have seen so many instagram posts styling these belts that I fell into the trap.    

Turquoise Earrings: Statements earrings are making a comeback and these turquoise ones stole my heart.  I love turquoise (blame it on my inner cowgirl) and these give a Kendra Scott vibe for less than $10.

Spotted Kendra Scott Elisa look alike!!!

Alright guys I have been drooling over the Kendra Scott Elisa necklace forever, I just couldn't justify spending $50 on it right now...so I was on the hunt for a look alike.

Y'all this H and M necklace is as close to the Kendra version as you can find...and for $4!!!!  Yes it's fake gold and yes it its not as nice but let me say it again $4!!! 

I got mine in the mail and have been wearing it everyday.  It is the perfect dainty piece of jewelry.   

I still have the real version on my wish list but this is a good stand in until I can justify that $50.  Also this is a great way to test out whether you would wear this style.
