Aldi Favorites

 

I've been an Aldi fan for a few years now and have found quite a few gems that are my absolute favorites!  I wanted to share them with you and would love to hear your go-to Aldi finds!

These bagels are a seasonal find (only available in fall) but they are my favorite!  They are a hearty bagel which I love, chocked full of cranberries and nuts.  They also have a pumpkin version but I much prefer this one.

If you are a fan of peanut butter and chocolate these cookies taste just like the girl scout version and are DELICIOUS!!  They are less than $2 for a pack and we go through them so fast.  Warning, don't buy them, you will be addicted!

I'm a big fan of hummus and Aldi has so many good flavors.  This roasted pine nut is a top one for me but I am also a big fan of the roasted red pepper version.  Aldi also has a version of pretzel crisps that are really good with the hummus.

Kodiak cakes but WAY cheaper!  I love the texture of these pancakes.  If you are a fan of an oatmeal pancake pick these up.  I think they also have a regular version, non oat so you can try that too.  Easy to make, delicious pancake with a little extra protein.

I don't live near a Trader Joe's so the famous bagel seasoning was not available to me.  Luckily Aldi came to the rescue with this seasoning!  It really does live up to the hype.  I have tried mine on avocado toast and I also love it on eggs.

Can you really go wrong with iced coffee??  This mocha version is around $2 an is delicious!  It is such a good treat to swap in for your everyday coffee.

Why pay more for creamer that tastes the same?  This Hazelnut creamer is my go-to and I love it!

We always have these sparkling waters in our fridge.  The tangerine version is my favorite.  It's such a good replacement for a soft drink.  Tastes like the LaCroix but around $2 for a 12 pack box. 

These have become a staple in our fridge.  Great for a lazy weekend breakfast treat!  Our Aldi has them for .99 cents, you can't beat that!

Forever21 Haul

Forever21 has been having a few sales, throw that in with a free shipping offer and I'm sold.  I picked up a few things on clearance, one jacket that is a MUST-HAVE!

Wild Hearts Distressed Tee: Love a good graphic tee.  This one is super soft and oversized with some distressed detailing.

Leopard Slippers: Needed a new pair of slippers.  These aren't the most comfortable things ever but they were $3 so they are comfy enough.

Oversized Sweatshirt Jacket: THE JACKET!  I scored this one on major sale and I LOVE IT!  It looks like a Free People jacket but for so much cheaper!

Jacket was definitely an instagram inspired purchase.  Saw it on wishes_reality and darylanndenner and knew I had to have it!  I love the comfy slouchy vibe. 

They brought it back out in a few other colors as well.  Trust me, snag this one you won't regret it.  I know I will be living in this come fall.

Dollar Tree Beauty Haul

I stopped by Dollar Tree a few days ago and snagged some goodies.  I always check out the beauty aisle, sometimes they have brand name products.  You just never know.

I picked up these blemish patches, haven't tried them yet because I'm breastfeeding but I'm excited to see if they work.  I've heard influencers talk about blemish patches in general and they sound neat.  

Scored a brand name product!  Picked up these Real Techniques blotting cushions.  I thought they might be a good travel option for makeup application or just to throw in my purse. 

Last find was definitely my favorite, these trimmers are AWESOME!  I have been using these to get rid of facial hair and they work perfectly.  I almost purchased some from Amazon but these work so well and were SO cheap!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Looks for Less. Part 2 (Under $45)

  

Back at it with another roundup of Nordstrom looks for less.  I had so much fun looking for items for the first post that I found so many I decided to do a second post.  There are some MAJOR deals here!  I'm talking sweaters for $5 and super cute booties for less than $10!!  Don't miss out!

1. Booties: $35 These heeled faux leather booties are so flattering with the side cutout.  Perfect lookalike for a much pricier pair.

2. Button cardigan: $5 Here's the first major deal!  You just can't beat the price.  So fun and perfect buttoned or unbuttoned.  Also this brand is really nice (p.s. it is sold at Nordstrom).

3. Candle: $11 Yes to a pretty candle that smells good!  I'm over the candle prices at Bath & Bodyworks, these smell just as good and are so pretty for decor plus way more affordable.

4. Graphic tee: $15 Graphic tees are all the rage and they can get really pricey.  There are so many affordable options so you can snag a couple.

5. Sherpa pullover: $12 You can never have too many sherpa pullovers.  So comfy and cozy for cooler weather!  This one is a major steal and so cute!  Comes in other colors including a fun leopard print.

6. Faux suede jacket: $26 I love a draped jacket, so flattering.  This one is giving blanknyc vibes and I'm loving it.

7. Ruffle sweater: $5 Another MAJOR Steal!  I love the classic stripes and fun ruffle detail on the sleeves, don't miss out on this one!

8. Booties: $15 Everyone needs a classic white bootie in their closet.  So fun in the fall but also spring and summer with dresses and shorts.  Wear now and later.

9. Moto Jacket: $40 Another classic everyone needs in their closet.  I love a moto jacket for fall and winter.  Perfect with jeans or throwing on over a dress and booties.

10: Mock neck sweater: $5 Last sweater steal!  Such a crazy deal for a cozy sweater.  Again y'all this brand is sold at Nordstrom and is nice!

11. Booties: $8 I couldn't believe this price!  Less than $10 for a classic heeled bootie!  Such a STEAL!

Dolce Vita is one of my favorite shoe brands but they are definitely on the pricey side.  They have so many fun and unique designs!  I have been eyeing the high top sneaker trend (still not sure if I can pull them off yet or not) but I am into it.  Target is always top of the game for good dupes and these are really close!  They have the gold detailing, black back accent and side zip.  They are just missing the traditional Dolce Vita arrow design but for the price difference I don't even mind.  To sweeten this deal even more Target has a MAJOR SALE going on right now:

Best Walmart Clearance Finds!

 

My love for Walmart finds is still going strong!  So many good pieces on MARKDOWN!!

Crocodile Tote Bag: Such a chic looking bag and on sale for $22!  I love this emerald crocodile version but they also have leopard, black pebbled, cognac and more!

 Striped Peplum Top: This cute top is on sale for $6 and comes in multiple colors!  I always love a good peplum top.

Quilted Bag: Designer inspired for less than $20!  You can't beat it.  I have seen so many bloggers rave about this brand on Walmart and I love the look of this bag.

Zip Pouch and Card Case: Such a cute little gift set available in multiple patterns for $12.  Comes with a card case for your keys and a cute little pouch.  If you have a friend with a birthday coming up (or LATE Christmas present) this would be so cute!

Faux Fur Jacket: Beautiful faux fur jacket for $20?!?  This one comes in multiple colors and looks so luxurious!

Logo Tote: I love the look of this designer inspired tote bag!  Under $22 and so chic!

1/4 Zip Pullover: Such a cute leopard print pullover for $6!

Triple Section Tote bag: Apparently I was feeling all the bags, but they really are that good!  I love a triple section bag and this one is so pretty!  Available in multiple colors.  I love this cheetah print but they also have a really fun lizard, cognac crocodile and black pebble.  For less than $23 you can't go wrong!

Walmart Finds

Walmart coming through with all the fashion finds!  They have so many good finds, here are some of my favorites:  

Camo Denim Distressed Jacket: This jacket is less than $20 and comes in a black, dark denim and a light denim as well.  It is a perfect oversized fit and features some distressing.  I picked up the camp one in store and love the fit.  I got an XS and there is still plenty of room.  

Retro Sneakers: Vans looks for so much less!  I found these in store and loved the look.  They have black and white versions and they really look like Vans.

Swing dress: You really can't go wrong with a classic swing dress.  Perfect for pairing with a vest or jacket.  They are also super soft and comfy.

Camo leggings: These look so much like the Spanx version but for way less!  

Hiker boots: I love these boots!  If I didn't already have about 5 pairs of winter boots they would totally be in my closet.  I love the neutral olive color and the little touch of fur.

Leopard boots: If you want to go a little more wild with your boot choice these leopard print combat boots are so cute!!

Quilted bag: Designer inspired if I have ever seen it!  I LOVE this quilted bag!  It is such a great size and the details and gorgeous!

Faux fur sneakers: These look just like a Steve Madden version!  So cozy and cute.  Perfect for winter.

Camo top: I love the relaxed fit of this camp top, perfect for pairing with leggings.

Logo tote: Another designer dupe coming at you.  This logo tote is perfect for carrying everything!

Dollar Tree Haul

It's been a while since I have done a Dollar Tree haul and I thought I would share my recent finds.  I love Dollar Tree, you never know what kind of goodies you are going to find!

I saw this sweet little ceramic colander and knew it had to come home with me!  How pretty is this? 

I wish I had picked up a couple more!  That's the thing about Dollar Tree finds if you find a good one you better snatch it up as it will not be there for long.

I picked up one of these silicone beauty blenders to try (side note I hated it)

Two chalk pens- These are pretty awesome!  They have a brand new revamped craft section so be sure to check it out!

I count this adorable wooden love sign, so rustic and cute!

I also picked up two more of the shelf stands.  I highly recommend these for adding a little more storage to your cabinets.  Other stores have them for $5 or more!

My last find were these GORGEOUS canvas pieces!

I couldn't believe these were at the Dollar Tree!  Even the lady at the checkout commented on how pretty they were.  Always check out the frame section for art pieces!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dupes

Instagram is full of influencers talking all about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  If you are a regular Nordstrom price point shopper the deals are actually pretty good.  My everyday price point is definitely not at the Nordstrom level so I like to find look-alike items for way less!

Snake print sneakers: You can't go wrong with animal print sneakers!  These are so cute and have a platform.  The Nordstrom sale item is closer to $40 and I might just like these better ;).

Faux suede booties: These chic booties are so fun for fall!  They have a stacked heel and pretty almond toe.

Faux suede moto jacket: Nordstrom always promos Moto jackets in their sale and I always love them!  This one is only $21 and so cute! 

Wedge boots: Sorel who??  These wedge boots are gonna go fast!  The Sorel ones are around $250??  These are a pretty close twin for less than $30.  Not even a question on which one I'm going with. 

Thermal henley two-pack: These henleys were BIG sellers last year and are such a good staple!

Leopard blanket: I'm sure you have seen the Barefoot Dreams blanket that everyone goes crazy over.  I'm sure that blanket is crazy soft (and better be for over $100) but this one is less than $30 and is plenty soft with the same look.

Leopard flats: All the leopard for fall!  These flats are major dupes for a Steve Madden pair and are so fun for pairing with sweaters, leggings, skinny jeans and all your fall looks!

Leopard cardigan: Yep more leopard, I mean you can't do fall without a little leopard.  This cardigan is a major deal find!  It is only $21 and is by the brand Dreamers by Debut which is a brand carried in Nordstrom itself.  Don' this out it is going to go FAST!

Thermal peplum top: I just recently purchased this one for myself and am obsessed!  All the Free People vibes for so much less!  Walmart had these last year and they sold out so quick I never got my hands on one.  I saw they were back and scooped them up.  So cute and fun for fall!

Current Crushes

New series I wanted to try out, my current crushes.  These are items I have found that I LOVE and are on my wish list.  I have seen other bloggers show theirs and I love seeing their roundup of things they want to purchase. 

1. NECKLACE | I have a cheap version of this one and really like it but it has definitely started to tarnish.  This one is 18K gold plated yet still affordable. 

2. SUNGLASSES | I really don't need another pair of sunglasses yet I am always drawn to them.  This oversized tortoise pair is calling my name!  They are also less than $15!

3. TOP | Graphic tees have been a thing a for a while and I've been enjoying the trend.  This sweatshirt is so fun with the horse print! 

4. LEOPARD SNEAKERS | I have been thinking about these sneakers ever since I spotted (haha) them!  They are on a super sale, less than $20 and I'm in love with them!!  They just might be in my cart ;)

5. EYESHADOW | I have heard raves about these eyeshadow palettes and this one is so pretty!!  Gives me feels of the tarte and Stila palettes for less than $10!

6. BAG | Major Rebecca Minkoff vibes for less than $40!!  I love the green version of this bag with the faux croc detailing. 

7. HOOPS | These hoops are gorgeous!!  I was eyeing a pair similar to these from Kendra Scott but these are less than $15 and give very similar vibes.

8. SANDALS | I spotted these in the Nordstrom clearance section and LOVED them!  They look like a Steve Madden pair but these are on sale for $25.  I love the neutral but glam look, perfect for wearing all summer!

Thrift Haul

Quarantine means no trips to the thrift store.  There are some online options that are definitely worth checking out. Some of my favorites:

So much denim!  I always need new jeans and these two were great finds and such great quality!  These shorts are going to be perfect for summer and I have been looking for a good light wash denim jacket.  My most favorite find is definitely those Jack Rogers wedges!  They look brand new and I'm obsessed!  I know I will be wearing them all summer.

Those American Eagle jeans were perfect for my trip to NYC!

We also stopped by the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC and this cozy cable knit sweater was perfect for walking around and admiring the beautiful views.
