Hobby Lobby Clearance Haul

Y'all know I am all about a good deal.  Hobby Lobby is my favorite place to find home decor and right now they are having their clear out sale.  I picked these up when they were 75% off but the last time I went in they had things marked to 85%, so run don't walk!

Here's what I found:

I love the hymn "Come Thou Fount", we actually had it played at our wedding when guests were walking in.  This art is really fun with the aluminum backing and rustic feel.  I got it for $4.50!

My next find was $10, and guys this thing is big!  I think it would look really great in a dining room or living room.  It is so rustic and I love the wood, the verse is a great reminder as well.

This was such a random find but I love it!  This deer towel holder was $8.75 and I think it is so fun!

Another deer accent, y'all deer and cows get me all the time.  This gorgeous art piece was $7.50 and I might end up putting it in my husband's office.

That's all for now, I have been eyeing a couple of cowhide stools but I need them to drop in price just a little more, I'm just hoping someone doesn't snatch them first!

Let me know if you find any really great Hobby Lobby clearance deals!

Farmhouse Decor at Walmart

I love the farmhouse style but definitely can't afford the Pottery Barn/Magnolia/etc price tag.  I was at Walmart recently and found quite a few farmhouse inspired pieces, perfect for decorating on a budget.

These bins were less than $7 and so cute!!

If you saw my recent post, these mugs would look familiar.  So cute, Rae Dunn inspired mugs for less than $3!

Guys Walmart had so many of these rustic tins, perfect for storage and decor.

How cute is this serve caddy?  Perfect for a party, home organization or flowers.

Another option for a party or would be really cute storing utensils in your kitchen.

These are so pretty for your patio or for wedding decor.

This glass spigot is gorgeous and so perfect for a party or just adding a nice touch to your kitchen.

They also had these galvanized ones for a more rustic touch.

These little art pieces are perfect for adding a little touch of farmhouse to your walls, they would be such a cute addition to a gallery wall.

One of my favorite pieces!  These beef and pork cut framed art pieces are prefect for adding a little farmhouse touch.

Walmart has so many baskets available and these are so fun!  I couldn't find these chicken wire ones online but they had a few that were similar.

These crates are the perfect DIY vessel and Walmart has the best price around.

What is your favorite place to find affordable farmhouse decor?

Five Things Friday

Five Things Friday

Spiral Hair Ties: A girl at work was raving about these, so I figured it was time I tried them out.  I was afraid they would hurt my hair but they are awesome!  They hold your hair tight but don't leave a mark.  They are available pretty much everywhere, give them a try.  Also I heard to put them in your shower if they loose their spring.

Dear Hate by Maren Morris and Vince Gill: I love Maren Morris, she is so talented.  She recorded this song a while ago but released it in honor of the Las Vegas tragedy.  It is such a beautiful tribute to overcoming tragedy and the underlying love in the world.  The basis of the song is biblical, talking about the devil's temptation in the garden and how God's love persisted even after the temptation was taken.  It is a beautiful song speaking of God's forgiveness and how He is our hope in this world.

Canoe No Show Socks: I have been looking for no-show socks for a while and these were a great find!  I caught them on clearance at Walmart for $2 for a pack of four.  They have the rubber grip at the back to hold to your heel.  I really like the longer front that covers the top of your foot, more comfortable for sneakers.

Wood Art:  These art pieces from Rustic Love Addiction on etsy are my new favorites!!  They are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to find a spot in our home.  The wood is quality and have been hand painted.  If you are looking for farmhouse, rustic decor items check them out.  They are beautiful quality and affordable.

Faux Fur Blanket: Y'all this blanket was such a great clearance find!  I have been looking for a faux faux fur blanket for a while and this one is beautiful!  It is normally $20 at Walmart but I caught it on clearance for $6.  It is so soft and I love the look of it draped over a couch or bed.

Fall Decor

Fall is my absolute favorite!  The leaves, chillier weather, sweaters, county fairs and pumpkin everything!  I love decorating our house for fall.  The colors are so pretty and warm.  I thought I would share my fall decor this year.

I love our little entryway table.  We don't have a mantle so I consider this my mantle.  It is the perfect place to showcase my favorite holiday decor.

This gold striped pumpkin is one of my favorites.  I picked it up at Hobby Lobby after Halloween for 90% off!

Our dining room is one of my least favorites...since we are renting we can't paint or change much.  Our dining room is a dark burgundy color and the room is dark.  I do like how the fall and Christmas decorations look in there because the colors go well.

I picked up this piece of art from Michael's for $1 a couple of years ago.

I love this Target bookcase we picked up at a thrift store when we first got married.  The fall bouquet on top is from Wal-Mart on clearance for $5.  The antler stand was on clearance at Hobby Lobby.

More clearance finds from Hobby Lobby.

I love this letter board I picked up at Wal-Mart for $9!  It is so cute and fun to change out.

Farmhouse Decor at the Dollar Tree

I recently went to the Dollar Tree with my husband and hit the jackpot on decor items.  I always look at the frame section just to see if they have anything new.  I saw the Farm to Table picture and fell in love, I mean it has a cow!  I then proceeded to flip through the rest of the canvases and found the close up of the cow head.  I may or may not have given a little squeal...but I mean how cute is it??

I have been admiring the close up cow pictures at Kirkland's and Hobby Lobby, I was so excited to find this mini version at the Dollar Tree of all places.

These pieces are the Special Moments Collection.  They are small wrapped canvases and feel like great quality.  They had so many different prints, not just cows!

I also found this stacked pig framed picture.  I got really excited when I first saw it because I thought it was all different farm animals stacked but the pigs will do.  I also love that it has that rustic look like it has been printed on burlap.  Granted the frame is pretty cheap and janky but hang it up and no one will ever know.

My last find was this framed piece.  I love the saying and the reminder to be grateful for your blessings.  I think it would be perfect for a dining room.

Have you found anything at the Dollar Tree lately?

Christmas Must-Haves

Christmas Must-Haves

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year.  I love the decorations, time with family, movies, just the feel of everything.

Here are my must-haves for Christmas celebrating:

Holiday pajamas- Can you really celebrate Christmas without your Christmas Jammies??  I just love putting on mine with some cozy socks or slippers and fixing a glass of eggnog or a mug of hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie.

Christmas candles- There is just something about burning a candle in the fall and winter season that instantly makes your house more cozy.  Bath and Bodyworks is my favorite place to pick up candles.

Christmas Sweater- spread some Holiday cheer with a cute Christmas sweater.  I love to wear crazy ones on the days leading up till Christmas just to feel festive.  I love the one from Aeropostale that I picked up last year on super clearance.

Fuzzy Slippers- I hate having cold feet so these slippers are perfect. Mine are American Eagle and they are super fuzzy, sparkly, and have a big bow!

Christmas Movies- It just isn't Christmas until you have watched your favorite Christmas movies.  My absolute must see movies are The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Santa Clause and Home Alone.  If you want to see my other favorites check out my post here.

Christmas Socks- Feeling festive down to your toes.  Seriously how cute are the socks from Target this year??

Christmas Mugs- I am a mug hoarder...it's so bad.  Christmas mugs are a favorite of mine.  I love warm drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, etc) and sipping them out of a Christmas mug just feels so festive and fun. I am in love with these reindeer mugs.  Each one has a different reindeer and they are just adorable.

Five Things Friday

Five Things Friday

Five Things Friday is back...probably not a regular thing....I just had a couple things to share that I have been loving this week:

1. Clif Bar Energy Bar, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut : I picked a box of these up at Big Lots for $4 and I have been eating them for breakfast.  They are delicious!  I seriously tastes like you are eating a cookie and I'm all about desserts for breakfasts :)

2. Maybelline New York Color Sensational Color Elixir Lip Color, Rose Redefined : I got this in my Target Beauty Box and I have been using it so much!  This is such a perfect lip color.  It is a glossy lip stick that feels good and lasts.  It's a gloss but it's not sticky feeling.  I love this color and its one I probably wouldn't have picked up myself because it is a little darker but I love it on my lips.  The packaging is so cute as well.

3. Pretty Petals by Ellen Tracy : I picked up this scent at Ross for $7.99 because I heard it was a dupe for Miss Dior Cherie.  While it's not exact I really like the scent.  Don't be scared when you first spray it because it is super strong but it quickly mellows down to a beautiful sweet feminine scent.  And how cute is that bottle?

4. 17 Kids and Counting : OK guys I know I am slow to the party on this one but I just didn't think I would be into this show...I just randomly started watching it one day and oh man I'm hooked on the Duggars.  I just find them so interesting how they live and deal with so many children.  They are just a sweet family and really down to earth.  I thought they would be kinda weird but I totally feel like we could hang out.

5. Honest Tea Half and Half : This was another Big Lots find (seriously I love that place for cheap different food).  This has great flavor and isn't too sweet.  It only has 70 calories per serving and I am loving it!

What have you guys been loving this week?
