Instagram Roundup

Here we go with another instagram roundup.  This week was thankfully uneventful, just staying home and making the best of things. 

Wearing something besides pajamas needed to be documented.  This denim jacket was a clearance find from my birthday weekend shopping and it's one of my favorites.

I tried the whipped coffee trend going around and it was pretty good. 
Here's what you need:
- 2 Tbsp instant coffee
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp hot water
Mix together (it takes quite a while by hand) until it gets a whipped, thick texture.  Fill a glass with with your choice of milk, top with whipped coffee and mix together.

This pick was taken on my birthday shopping trip, I love the Anthropologie home accents!  Those monogram mugs are definitely on my wish list!

Thrift Haul

Quarantine means no trips to the thrift store.  There are some online options that are definitely worth checking out. Some of my favorites:

I picked up a few things and hit a major thrift jackpot!

So many good finds!  Here's what I picked up:

- Jack Rogers Espadrille Wedges

So much denim!  I always need new jeans and these two were great finds and such great quality!  These shorts are going to be perfect for summer and I have been looking for a good light wash denim jacket.  My most favorite find is definitely those Jack Rogers wedges!  They look brand new and I'm obsessed!  I know I will be wearing them all summer.

Those American Eagle jeans were perfect for my trip to NYC!

We also stopped by the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC and this cozy cable knit sweater was perfect for walking around and admiring the beautiful views.

Instagram Roundup

It has almost been a month since I have shared an instagram roundup, a lot has happened in between for sure.  Trying to reign life back in to normalcy as much as possible.

My mom, my sister and I had the chance to take a trip to New York City a couple of weeks ago (right before everything went crazy).  We had a great time sightseeing, eating and taking in the city life.  Blog posts coming soon!

This jacket was one of my favorite things that I brought on the trip!  Bonus it is only $20!

So much walking and way too many pictures!  I'm also planning a post with my outfits that I wore while in the city, stay tuned!

My sister had her very first macaroon experience at The Plaza.  We had the Marie Antoinette and the Rose Petal.  Texture was amazing but honestly we picked the wrong flavors ;)

Seeing the empty Times Square on the news right now is so crazy to think that we were just there a few weeks ago.

Last time I visited Central Park it was rainy and gross, this time we lucked out with a beautiful sunny day.  So nice to walk through the park and see all the familiar sights.

We ventured out of the city to Long Island and visited a Gatsby inspired house with beautiful gardens.  I'm telling you this coat was a major favorite!

I'll leave you with this one, in these uncertain times I have confidence in my God.  He knows what is going to happen and He has a plan for everything.  This pandemic wasn't a surprise to Him.  Trusting in Him and in His plan for all this.

Sephora birthday

I just recently celebrated my birthday and picked up my FREE Sephora Birthday Gift.  This year you got to pick from Three different options!

If you are unfamiliar with the Sephora Birthday gift you are definitely missing out!  You sign up for their FREE insider program and every year during your birthday month you get a free gift.  It's always a nice deluxe sample.

Like I said they had three options to pick from this time: a MILK makeup set, Briogeo hair set and a Janerio lotion set.  I typically pick the makeup set but this time I went with the lotion set.  I have tried this lotion before and it smells AMAZING!
