Thrift Haul

Time for another thrift haul!  I picked up a few really great items for fall from the thrift store (all under $5!)

This super soft flannel plaid tunic dress from H&M is going to be so perfect with leggings and booties for the fall.  It was $4!

I love leopard for pretty much any season but especially for fall.  This cozy leopard sweater with fun sequin accents is going to be perfect with denim and booties.  I think it was around $3, oh yeah and it was new with tags.

I LOVE this corduroy jacket so much!!  It is the prettiest green and it is going to be such a great layering piece.  It was around $3 as well.
This Truly Madly Deeply henley was such a great find for less than $4!!  It is so perfectly flowy and cozy!
This floral tunic is one of my favorite finds for sure!  I can't wait to pair this one with denim or leggings and a moto jacket (or that corduroy jacket).

Alright that's my quick little thrift haul.  Let me know your latest thrift finds down below!

Taste Test: Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

It's September and Starbucks pumpkin spice is back, fall is pretty much here right??  I had to try out the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew to see what all the fuss is about.

Starbucks website says it is made with cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and sprinkled with pumpkin spice.  I am a big fan of the cold brew cold foam drinks so I had high hopes for this one.

First of all don't be surprised to find it orange, I happen to love the fact.  First sip I am a fan.  It is not too sweet and not overly spicy or cinnamony.  The pumpkin cold foam is just subtly pumpkin but it has a really good flavor.  Overall if you like Starbucks iced coffee and especially if you are a fan of their seasonal drinks I'd say it is worth a go for sure.

Have you tried this one yet?  Let me know your thoughts and your favorite Starbucks drink!

Instagram Roundup

This week we are playing a little catchup, I was slacking on my instagram game last week and didn't have enough to post so its all combined this week.

It's September 1st and I'm so ready for fall!  I love fall style, give me ALL the layers!!  I am in love with these peep toe heeled mules at the moment.  They are the perfect neutral shoe and give me just the right amount of height.

Big changes took place for my family this past week, my little brother took off on his deployment.  We are praying for his safety and the safety of all the men and women serving.  So incredibly proud of my little brother and his courage to serve our country.

Alright I said I was super ready for fall, I totally am, I'm just not quite ready to put away my espadrilles.  I just go these a few weeks ago and I LOVE them!  They are so comfy and the quality is amazing!

Y'all I picked up these vans a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed with them!  They are super comfy and lend just the smallest edge to a look.  As far as sizing goes I got a women's 6 (typically I am a 6.5).  This light blue color is the prettiest!

Friday Favorites

It's Friday and I'm back with my favorites!

Great Commission Coffee: This coffee is delicious!  We ordered the medium roast and the medium dark roast and they are both excellent!  What is really neat is that with each purchase of a bag of coffee you contribute enough funds to feed a Nicaraguan family of four for an entire week, or to provide Bibles for two families.  A great cup of coffee with a cause.

Bralette: Is it acceptable to just wear a bralette everyday?  Pretty sure that's what I'm gonna do.  These bralettes are so pretty and perfect for pairing with pretty much anything!  They are crazy comfy and padded so you really can't go wrong!

Thredup: I shared my haul earlier but y'all I found so many good deals!!  It was national thrift day and they had up to 50% off things with free shipping!  I got Free People, Articles of Society, and more for cheap, check out my post here.

Vans: I finally bit the bullet and purchased some Vans and guys I love them!  I got these really pretty light blue ones from DSW and I have been wearing them a ton!  They are really comfy and go with everything.  I am typically a size 6.5 and I sized down to a 6 with no problem.

Frutta Bowls: Y'all I had my first bowl a few weeks ago and just recently had my second and I LOVE them!  I get the classic frutta bowl that has acai, granola, pineapple, strawberries, coconut, kiwi, peanut butter and nutella.  It's amazing!  They are a little pricey so they are definitely a treat.

Hope you all had a great week!  Let me know what you have been loving below!

Dierks Bentley Concert

If you have been following along for awhile you will be familiar with the fact that I have a knack for winning concert tickets (guess that's my hidden talent).  This was the second concert for the summer and I was pretty excited about this one.  I had the chance to see Jon Pardi and Dierks Bentley a few years ago at Stagecoach and they were pretty great so I was excited for the opportunity to see them again with Kyle.

We were pretty blessed to have an overcast night with a little bit of a breeze and no rain!
I kept it pretty casual with my favorite Redhead camo hat and a tee shirt, jeans and my boots.

Funny story we actually ended up in the wrong seats for about 30 minutes.
The owners of the seats came up and were like yeah I think you're in our seats, we looked and sure enough we were a whole section over...whoops 🤦‍♀️

Tenille Townes was the first act and we were both pretty excited to hear more from her.  She has a really interesting voice, very raspy and heartfelt.  My favorite song from her is "White Horse".

Jon Pardi was up next and y'all I just really like him.  He sounds like a mix of old country and new.  His set was my favorite, simple feel like a honkytonk.  I'm a fan for sure!

Dierks brought it for sure.  He is just a good time.  You definitely forget how many of his songs have been such big hits.  He put on a show and it was just a good time.

This amphitheater is definitely one of my favorites, big but still intimate feeling.

Dierks and Jon did a song together and of course it was great.  That's my favorite part of concerts when they do combos together or sing other songs you wouldn't expect.

Tenille came back out and sang a little Shania Twain and I sure wasn't mad about it.

It was a really fun night, I love country music so the chance to go hear it live and share it with my husband is a blessing.

10 Tip on How to Do Disney

Alright y'all I have been thinking about this post for a while to make sure I had all my tips squared away.  I have been pretty lucky to go to Disney quite a few times in the past couple of years and I feel like I have finally gotten the hang of it ;).  So from a fellow Disney lover here are my personal tips for doing Disney:

1. Use the My Disney Experience App!  This is a free app (and wifi is available in the parks for free) that has so many uses in the parks!  You can use it to check wait times, order food and schedule your fastpasses, check out maps and so much more!  Seriously it is a must-have for making the most of your Disney day.

2. Ok so Fastpasses...USE THEM!!!  If you are staying on property you can book your passes up to 60 days in advance (30 for off-site guests).  Book them early!  Also if possible book all three of your choices for morning slots so you can use those and pick more as the day progresses.

3. If you can't get a FastPass for a ride you really want you can always ride it at the end of the night.  If you are in line right before park closes you are guaranteed to ride and it is typically a much shorter wait.  I have done this personally with Flight of Passage and only had to wait about 45 minutes compared to 3 hours.

4. Don't wait in line for food!  I mentioned earlier you can use the My Disney Experience App to order food, y'all it is a time saver!  You order through the app and then skip the line and pick up your food.  Such a great trick and you are able to see exactly what you are ordering and how much it costs so it's easier for your budget.

5. Another food tip...DON'T spend money on water!  All counter service restaurants will give you free water, you just have to ask.

6. Get cute pictures by asking the cast members (even photopass people) to take your picture with your own personal camera or phone.  They know what they are doing and it's free.

7. Save money and buy discounted Disney Gift Cards to pay for your trip at Sam's Club or Target (save 5% with your redcard).

8. Want to be in the park with little to no crowds?  Try an 8:00AM or earlier breakfast reservation.  This gets you in the park and once you are done eating you can roam around with little to no crowds.  This is the perfect time to get those shots in front of the castle without trying to fight everyone else.  Also breakfast is typically the least expensive meal so it is a great time to try Be Our Guest or a character meal.

9. Wear Comfortable Shoes!!  You are walking ALL day, this is not the time to try out your cute new shoes, flip-flops or heels.  Be kind to your feet and throw on your comfy tennis shoes.  The average person walks 7-10 miles a day at Disney, your feet with thank you.

10. Use a FREE TravelAgent.  My personal favorite is Trudy at Ears of Experience, she loves Disney just as much as I do!  Travel agents come at no additional costs but they can be a big saver for your vacation.  They have the inside information on the best deals and hookups and can be a big help in planning.  If you are unsure of how Disney works or you just want to let someone else handle it check them out for sure!  Honestly who wouldn't want someone else to plan their vacation??

That wraps it up, hope these are helpful!  If you are planning a Disney trip in the near future let me know down below, I'm jealous!!  Also let me know your favorite Disney tip, I'm always looking for more!!  I'm dreaming of my next trip, Star Wars Land is opening soon and I would love to go with Kyle.  Hopefully we will see you real soon Disney!
