10 Tip on How to Do Disney

Alright y'all I have been thinking about this post for a while to make sure I had all my tips squared away.  I have been pretty lucky to go to Disney quite a few times in the past couple of years and I feel like I have finally gotten the hang of it ;).  So from a fellow Disney lover here are my personal tips for doing Disney:

1. Use the My Disney Experience App!  This is a free app (and wifi is available in the parks for free) that has so many uses in the parks!  You can use it to check wait times, order food and schedule your fastpasses, check out maps and so much more!  Seriously it is a must-have for making the most of your Disney day.

2. Ok so Fastpasses...USE THEM!!!  If you are staying on property you can book your passes up to 60 days in advance (30 for off-site guests).  Book them early!  Also if possible book all three of your choices for morning slots so you can use those and pick more as the day progresses.

3. If you can't get a FastPass for a ride you really want you can always ride it at the end of the night.  If you are in line right before park closes you are guaranteed to ride and it is typically a much shorter wait.  I have done this personally with Flight of Passage and only had to wait about 45 minutes compared to 3 hours.

4. Don't wait in line for food!  I mentioned earlier you can use the My Disney Experience App to order food, y'all it is a time saver!  You order through the app and then skip the line and pick up your food.  Such a great trick and you are able to see exactly what you are ordering and how much it costs so it's easier for your budget.

5. Another food tip...DON'T spend money on water!  All counter service restaurants will give you free water, you just have to ask.

6. Get cute pictures by asking the cast members (even photopass people) to take your picture with your own personal camera or phone.  They know what they are doing and it's free.

7. Save money and buy discounted Disney Gift Cards to pay for your trip at Sam's Club or Target (save 5% with your redcard).

8. Want to be in the park with little to no crowds?  Try an 8:00AM or earlier breakfast reservation.  This gets you in the park and once you are done eating you can roam around with little to no crowds.  This is the perfect time to get those shots in front of the castle without trying to fight everyone else.  Also breakfast is typically the least expensive meal so it is a great time to try Be Our Guest or a character meal.

9. Wear Comfortable Shoes!!  You are walking ALL day, this is not the time to try out your cute new shoes, flip-flops or heels.  Be kind to your feet and throw on your comfy tennis shoes.  The average person walks 7-10 miles a day at Disney, your feet with thank you.

10. Use a FREE TravelAgent.  My personal favorite is Trudy at Ears of Experience, she loves Disney just as much as I do!  Travel agents come at no additional costs but they can be a big saver for your vacation.  They have the inside information on the best deals and hookups and can be a big help in planning.  If you are unsure of how Disney works or you just want to let someone else handle it check them out for sure!  Honestly who wouldn't want someone else to plan their vacation??

That wraps it up, hope these are helpful!  If you are planning a Disney trip in the near future let me know down below, I'm jealous!!  Also let me know your favorite Disney tip, I'm always looking for more!!  I'm dreaming of my next trip, Star Wars Land is opening soon and I would love to go with Kyle.  Hopefully we will see you real soon Disney!

Disney Trip: Madison + Mallory Summer Dreamers

If you've been following along for a while you know I love Disney.  I've been pretty blessed to be able to go quite a few times in the past year and I am so thankful.  The boutique I work for (Madison and Mallory) is doing an awesome collection with Disney inspired pieces, of course that meant we made a Disney trip to get some shots.
Here's a sneak peek at some pieces from the collection as well as just some shots from the trip.
Y'all it was hard work getting pictures this cute ;)

The options range from casual park apparel tees to dressy options.  SO.MUCH.CUTE.STUFF!!!

How cute is this romper??  It is super soft and crazy comfy.  I'm not one to pick a romper but I wore quite a few on this trip and I'm a fan.

This dress was my husband's favorite for sure.  I love the boho vibes and the pattern, super comfy too!

Yep I'm in another romper, the colors on this one are gorgeous!!
p.s. if you like these ears (and most of the other ones) check out Pixie Made Ears!

I loved this look, so classic Disney.  Also Disney tip, if you have never checked out the hub grass it's a great place to relax, eat and take a few pictures.

We made a trip over to the Polynesian resort and y'all it just might be my favorite.  It was GORGEOUS!!  Everyone was super nice and it felt like a tropical getaway.  Speaking of tropical these pants are perfect for your next vacay.

This is the Polynesian lobby, this place was so pretty!!

There is a beach and everything in the back and they give you leis, it was such a fun resort.

One of my favorite looks, I love the vintage feel of this one and Hollywood Studios was the perfect backdrop.

Hopefully you can't tell in this picture but I ended up catching the Disney crud my last day there.  Nothing too crazy just a cold that knocked me down.  I still Disneyed but y'all I took at least 3 naps that day (one in the Muppets and two sitting on the sidewalk in between photo shoots).
We stayed at Art of Animation and had so much fun exploring and finding all the accents throughout.

The Flower & Garden festival was going on while we were at Epcot so lots of new food and topiaries were around.  This Miss Piggy one was my favorite!

I finally got to see the new Toy Story Land.  It was adorable!!  So many cute details and both new rides were great, slinky dog is so much fun!!!

No matter how many times you have seen it, the fireworks and projection show never get old.

I got to see the Star Wars firework show at Hollywood Studios for the first time and LOVED it!!  If you didn't know I'm a big Star Wars nerd ;)

Another great Disney trip for the books!  Also the Summer Dreamers collection goes live TODAY at 11:00AM CST.  Go check it out at Madison and Mallory to get the styles shown above and SO MUCH MORE!!!  It's such a fun collection, I know y'all are gonna LOVE it!!

Let me know your favorite piece from the collection and what you end up snagging!

One BIG thing this month was a work trip to Disney!!  I can't wait to share more about it!  We stayed at Art of Animation and had so much fun exploring all the magical details.  Like this romper, catch it coming soon on Madison and Mallory!

Another big thing that I haven't talked about is my short hair!!  I cut off about 7 inches and y'all I'm into it.
Shop my jacket here.

I have been wanting to try Frutta Bowls forever and they did not disappoint!!  I got the frutella bowl and Oh My Goodness it was delicious!!

I wore this super cute polka dot maxi and new sandals (both from Madison and Mallory) for my Easter #ootd.  Polka dots are a thing y'all, so many other people caught on to the polka dot memo for church ;)
The Disney crew!  Such a fun trip, we worked hard but had no shortage in the Disney memories and fun made.

The trip was to promote a new super fun collection for Madison and Mallory.  Y'all the pieces are too cute!!

How pretty is this dress??  This might be one of my favorite shots.

Got my purple wall pic ;) If you only knew how many jumps this one took...

Believe it or not this was my first Starbucks drink from Disney, how cute are those cups???

I was so excited to see Toy Story Land and it did not disappoint.  The details are so cute!!  Also slinky dog is pretty awesome.

I love espadrille details in the spring and summer, how cute are these slip-ons??  Super comfy and excellent quality.  Pick up a pair for yourself here and use code ERIN20 for 20% off!

My husband and I both LOVE the Eli Young Band.  When I found out they were performing close by I knew we had to go.  I ended up surprising Kyle for an early birthday present and it was such a great show!!

We were pretty much front row to one of our favorites and we loved every minute of it!!

My New Favorite Disney Shirt Store!!

If you have been around for a while you know I love Disney!  I have been REALLY lucky to be able to go to Disney a couple of times in the past two years.  This has only served to fuel the Disney love.  I have been really into finding cute Disney fan merchandise on etsy to wear on trips.  Follow me on instagram to see my trips!

I recently found the cutest store that is my absolute new favorite!  Main Street Magic Co on etsy is the cutest ever!!  Taylor was really sweet and appointed me the official brand enthusiast, and I am totally fine with that.  She sent me a couple of items to check out and I had to share them with you:

This is probably my favorite Disney shirt ever!  For those of you unfamiliar with the slogan it is from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  There is a scene where the pirates are auctioning off the women and the men are yelling "We wants the redhead".  Since I am a redhead I thought it was fitting.  They are also taking this part out of the ride and reconfiguring it, which I have mixed feelings about, RIP original pirates.

This shirt is so soft and really nice!  It is perfect for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (which I had the chance to attend last year) or just wearing during the Christmas season.

This shirt was such a sweet surprise and I am in love!!  I'm a southern girl and will always have a soft spot for monograms.  This monogram mickey pocket top is the cutest!  It is so soft and would be perfect to throw on over leggings.

Did I mention the monogram was glitter???

How cute is this top???  I know I will be wearing this one all through October.  Also how cute would this one be for Mickey's Not So Scary party??

If you are looking for cute Disney shirts that are seriously good quality check out Main Street Magic!
