Thrift Haul

Time for another thrift haul!  I picked up a few really great items for fall from the thrift store (all under $5!)

This super soft flannel plaid tunic dress from H&M is going to be so perfect with leggings and booties for the fall.  It was $4!

I love leopard for pretty much any season but especially for fall.  This cozy leopard sweater with fun sequin accents is going to be perfect with denim and booties.  I think it was around $3, oh yeah and it was new with tags.

I LOVE this corduroy jacket so much!!  It is the prettiest green and it is going to be such a great layering piece.  It was around $3 as well.
This Truly Madly Deeply henley was such a great find for less than $4!!  It is so perfectly flowy and cozy!
This floral tunic is one of my favorite finds for sure!  I can't wait to pair this one with denim or leggings and a moto jacket (or that corduroy jacket).

Alright that's my quick little thrift haul.  Let me know your latest thrift finds down below!

Goodwill Outlet Thrift Haul and Experience

If you have been around for a while you know I am a lover of thrifting.  I love the thrill of the hunt and finding a great deal.  While I was in NC I finally went to a Goodwill Outlet. Y'all it is not for the faint of heart.  It was a complete mess, people were searching through bins and there was little to no organization.  If you don't know how the bins work they are literal bins of items from Goodwill, you pick through them and then your items are sold by weight.  I managed to find a few items:

Yes to all the Chenille!!  This Alfred Dunner pink chenille pullover had to come with me.

Velvet is another one of my favorites, I picked up this really pretty textured velvet top.

And more velvet...this tank with lace trim is really fun and perfect for pairing under a jacket for a feminine touch.

I also picked up some plaid Old Navy plaid pajama pants because you can never have too many.

I saw this crazy embroidered Christmas vest peeking out and I knew it had to come home with me.  We do an ugly Christmas sweater contest with Kyle's family and I though this was a contender.  I actually think it is really pretty...is that bad??

My total ended up being less than $5 for all that...so the deals are for real I just don't know if it is worth it to have to dig.

These were not from the bins but I had to share them!  I picked these up from the Dollar Tree and loved them!!  They are perfect for our Ugly Christmas sweater outfits.  I will be sure to post pictures of the final products.

Good Twice Haul: Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and more!

Guys I am a thriftaholic, it's a problem.  I am all about getting a good deal.  Why pay full price when you can get great items for rock bottom??  I recently discovered GoodTwice and am obsessed with them!  Seriously I check them once a day to see the new arrivals and have now placed 4 orders...whoops.  GoodTwice is an online thrift store, the items are in great condition and are all shown really well on the website.  I have been super impressed.
Did I mention that shipping is only 99 cents??????

Ok so about those 4 orders...

My first order was during there Anniversary Sale where everything was 50% off (which is amazing considering their prices are already low).  I picked up these America Eagle Skinny Jeans for $10!!  Y'all these are BRAND NEW with tags still on them!

My next order was this really cute olive green felt wool floppy hat that is so perfect for fall!  I had a coupon and I ended up paying less than $4, it was also new with tags.

I picked up this Cejon faux fur jacket that is gorgeous and will be so fun for fall and winter.  It was $9.99

I always need more sports bras and I couldn't pass up this brand new one from New Balance for $9.99

I am not shy about animal print and these Michael Kors snakeskin loafers $12.99 and had to come home with me.  They are in amazing condition and I cannot wait to style them for fall.

My absolute favorite find was this Michael Michael Kors Jet Set Chain Tote.  It was a little pricier at $59.99 but I am so in love with it!!  It is in great condition, it is missing the MK hang tag but honestly I don't even miss it.

I have been wanting the Coach Phoebe for years and this bag has a very similar layout so it was perfect!  The inside is spotless and I have been carrying ever since I got it.

My second favorite find was this beautiful floral kimono from 143 Story.  It is so flowy and drapes beautifully, for $9.99 I couldn't say no.

My most recent buy was during their July Fourth sale where they did 40% off.  I found this beautiful Lauren by Ralph Lauren leather tote bag for $17.99, with my coupon I paid less than $12.  It is such a great classic bag and gives me feels of the neverfull.  The quality is amazing and I can't wait to start using it!

How pretty is that kimono??  I love it and know I am going to be wearing it all the time!

Also yes to this bag, so classic and chic, perfect all season bag as well.  I'm so obsessed with it!

Thrifting finds

Big surprise I went thrifting again and found a couple of things.  Dresses are one of my favorite pieces of clothing because you have a whole outfit in one piece and seriously it's so comfortable.  My husband thinks its unfair that dresses are pretty much close to nothing and we get to wear it in public.  I love them because I mean who wants to wear pants?

I fell in love with this polka dotted number and the ruffles oh man I loved it.  It has these crazy straps in the back that tie and it's semi open back (sorry I didn't show the picture my bra was hanging out and...just trying to be a lady y'all)  I do have to fix it a little bit, the neckline is a little plunging for me so I'm going to pull that mess together.

Pretty embroidery gets me every time and the detail on this dress was gorgeous.  I love how lightweight it is and easy to throw on...perfect for hot summer days in Alabama.

This was probably my favorite find.  This adorable striped number is originally from Target and I am in love!  It is so flattering, comfortable and so easy to wear.  You can't tell in this picture but the straps are neon pink!  Also the dress has padded cups so you can totally go without a bra (don't tell anyone...).

I ended up wearing this one to my husbands graduation with my favorite cardigan (Ann Taylor thrifted) and wedges.

I also got some books (I'm turning into my mom who walks out with a handful of books every time...there could be worse things right?)

-The 13th Day of Christmas: my mom mentioned this book and said it was good so I picked up my own copy.

- Shiver: I have heard a lot of good things about this book and it's been on my to-read list on goodreads forever.

- Shopaholic Takes Manhatten: I love the shopaholic series, they are hilarious and so easy to read.

- Sam's Letters to Jennifer: I read another book by this author recently and absolutely fell in love with it so when I found another book I grabbed it.

- Twenties Girl: and another book by the shopaholic author...I just love her.

Pretty good haul for a random thrift day.

Anybody found anything good lately thrifting?

Latest deal finds (thrifting, T.J. Maxx, Walmart)

Oh man I went shopping again and found some deals...check them out

Thrifting is such a hobby for me, I love the hunt.

I love this adorable duck sweater originally from Target I got for $3.75, perfect for winter/fall with leggings and I think it will look adorable with my herringbone vest....too bad I'll have to save it for next fall...

I finally got a hold of this monogram mug that I missed at Target when they were in store.  They had a handful of letters at this Goodwill and I happened to find an E (pretty sure I squealed a little...)  Picked mine up for $2.

I loved the jewel tone of this button down chiffon shirt from Forever 21 and the studded collar was too pretty to pass up.  I love the tough but chic vibe.  Again shirts are $3.75

Ever since I saw the movie Julie & Julia I fell in love with Julia Child so when I saw this book at Goodwill for $2 I couldn't pass it up.  Now if I ever feel adventurous I can try to master one of her recipes.

This was another Target find at Goodwill, This adorable coin purse with lime green hello scribbled all over was just too adorable to pass up.

I had to stop in Walmart and pick up some oil for my car (so exciting) and happened to pass by a clearance display of shoes.  These leopard ones pretty much jumped up and into my cart...I mean they were my size and only $5.  I have been looking for a pair of leopard flats forever and these are so comfortable!

While grocery shopping I sometimes tend to wander over into the clothing section to check out the clearance options...this trip I came back with two scarves for $1 each!  I am obsessed with them.  I love a leopard accent and this scarf is so cozy.  The black one has a great chunky texture and it is super cozy...too bad I have to wait till winter rolls around again to wear them (wait a second did I just say that?)

Alright so my shopping options in my town are a little limited (we have a Walmart and that's about it) so when we travel somewhere I like to stop at Target or T.J. Maxx (or both) and get my fix.

This particular trip I picked up 2 essie nail polishes for $3.99 each.  They had so many essie options I had such a hard time picking just two.  I ended up with Spaghetti strap which is a pretty pale pink and Time for Me Time which is a perfect nude but with a slight shimmer.

I always check out the clearance section at T.J. Maxx and this time I scored on my favorite Betsey Johnson perfume for $7!!  I bought this first from T.J. Maxx on clearance on a whim and I absolutely love it.  I get so many compliments on it and I bought this one as a backup when I use up the other one.

What good deals have you guys gotten lately?

Thrifting finds

Guys you know my love for thrifting, I love the thrill of hunting for treasures and discovering something amazing for a great price.  Unfortunately the closest Goodwill is 30 minutes away so I don't get to go very often but sometimes I just have to satisfy my thrifting urges.

Check out some of my recent finds:

I love getting books at Goodwill (books are expensive ya'll).  The Luxe has been on my to read list for a long time so I was really excited to find it!  I have heard ravings about 90 Minutes in Heaven and just never got around to reading it.

I also found a set of four of these beautiful blue and white ceramic plates.  I love the crisp clean look of blue and white on plates.  I love picking up china and ceramic ware from Goodwill as they are 25-50 cents each.  I have been stocking up on mismatched china sets so I can one day display and use a quirky eclectic mismatched china tea set.  Plus I am creating a little collection of blue and white plates so I can mismatch them beautifully (I just love the chic eclectic look of mismatched plates).

I also found the movie Silverado on DVD for my brother.  My family has a thing for westerns and this was one they always used to watch and we only had it on VHS.  For $2 it's not a bad deal.

I can't remember the brand of this shirt but the fit was great, it covered my butt and I loved the stripes.

I have a booty and with that finding shorts (really any pants) can be a challenge.  These Old Navy ones fit really well, I loved the distressed look and for $4 I felt like they would be perfect for this summer.

I found this mixed in with the pajama section and thought it would be perfect as a dress extender. Just think of the ruffles on the bottom peeking out under a dress and making it just a little bit longer.  I have been eyeing extenders for upwards of $20 and I got this one for $3.

How adorable is this dress?  I absolutely fell in love with the pattern and it was new with tags!  Seriously it doesn't get any better...$5!!!
