Yes sir I am officially an engaged woman...I even have the ring to prove it :)
Since you all are a part of my life I figured I should probably share this momentous occurrence with my blog followers.
He proposed on New Year's Eve by playing guitar and singing me a song...pretty much the sweetest thing ever and the most perfect proposal I could imagine, followed by the most beautiful ring ever (still can't believe it is mine to keep)
My fiance (love saying that) and I are planning a wedding in August...only 5 short months away so be prepared for some future blog posts on weddings!
This man makes my heart smile. I can't believe I am lucky enough that he chose to spend forever with me. I am blessed to call him mine and can't wait to call him my husband.
blessings,
Erin

Mason Jars!: Kasey's Simply Primitive Review
I love mason jars...probably too much. Kasey's Simply Primitives is such a cute place to find mason jar accessories if you are an addict like me.
She repurposes mason jars into usable decorative accessories in your home.
I had the chance to review two products:
1. Mason jar soap dispenser:
So cute and you can specify the color when you order!
2. Mason jar with straw and lid:
Did you know that everything tastes better when you drink it from a mason jar? If you are planning a garden party, tailgate party, or just having a few friends over for a cook-out, sip your drink in this cute cup.
Check out Kasey's Simply Primitive!

DIY Gift Idea: Pot Holder Stay Put Towel
I made these and gave them to a lot of the ladies on my gift list:
Pot Holder Dish Towels
These are the cutest little things, super cheap and really easy to make...honestly the middle school kids in my class made them...how hard can they be??
What you need:
- Dish Towel (new, used, it doesn't really matter- mine came from the Dollar Tree)
- Pot Holder (again mine came from good ol Dollar Tree)
- Button
- Needle and Thread
How to Make It:
- The towel needs to be the same width as the pot holder, so gather the ends some if it is longer and pin in place.
- Pin the middle of the pot holder to the middle of the dish towel, right sides together.
- Sew straight down the middle
Sewing on the Button:
- For the button you want to fold your pot holder in half and bring the loop over the front, mark the middle of the loop.
- Take your button and hand sew it on the marked dot.
- Your finished! You can add whatever embellishments you want...I'm thinking monograms, more buttons, ribbon...etc.
Now you have a cute little gift for someone or to keep for yourself...I won't judge ;)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Blessings,
Erin
