Fall Fun 2021

Late as per usual but wanted to recap the fall season on here for memories.  Here's a look at all the fall activities we got into this year:

We made a quick weekend trip to visit my family in early fall.  Shelby got to meet my sister's horses and sit in Uncle Jacob's new cop car.

Shelby just wasn't quite sure what to make of those horses.
We also got to see Aunt Rae's new pony Littlefoot.  She is hoping to train her to pull a cart.  Maybe one day Shelby will take a ride.
In October we made the trip to the Carolina Classic Fair.  This is the fair I grew up with and haven't been back to in 7 years.  It was so good to FINALLY be back and also so sweet to get to introduce Shelby to the fair.
No rides this year but we did spend a lot of time in the cattle barn, walking around looking at all the things and visited the petting zoo.

Favorite fair food by far were these doughnuts!!  SO SO SO GOOD!!
That smile y'all!!  She's the cutest.
I love a fair corndog, anyone else??  Also how cute is this cowboy buckle top from Heartwood Boutique?  They have so many fun western inspired tees.

Yes, I did cut a pumpkin and put my baby in it just for a photo.  No screaming and the pictures are so cute!
We visited an orchard a few years ago pre-baby and had such a great time we decided to make a trip this year with Shelby.  It was really fun!  We went to Justus Orchard in Hendersonville and we will definitely be back!  It was such a beautiful day to walk around.  They have a little farm with animals along with lots of kiddo activities.  Shelby is still too small for those but maybe next year.  They also have ALL the treats.  We got apple cider doughnuts, cider, dumplings and more!  They also had a BBQ food truck on site so super convenient to grab lunch.

Even though we didn't trick or treat (or leave the house for that matter) we dressed Shelby up.  This little sweet pea costume was a clearance find that I have had for YEARS just waiting on a little baby.
I also donned my Carhartt overalls and a plaid top for a pic with my sweet pea.

We are loving each season with out sweet girl.  So many new memories.  Hope you all had a wonderful fall season and are enjoying your holidays!
