Hollar Haul

I have shared about Hollar before, they are an online super deal site.  They have so many items (many of them less than $1).  I shop here for household items, gifts, and just random items.  Here's what I got this go round:

Boot Socks, these were $2 for a pack of two.  They are pretty thick and I am really excited to wear these with my new duck boots.

I have been wanting a faux fur scarf for a while, I love how soft and fluffy they are.  This one was $3 and I love the white.

I also picked up this distressed hoodie for $6.  It is actually really nice and thick.  It is more of a tunic on me, super oversized but perfect for lounging around on comfy days.

My last find was this dry shampoo for $4.  I am dry shampoo obsessed and can't go without it.  I haven't tried this one yet but I have high hopes.

Do you use Hollar??  Let me know your best finds and other favorite deal sites!!

Five Things Friday

The Greatest Showman:  This movie!!  My mom and sister said I had to see it so I talked my husband into going with me.  I am so glad I did, it was absolutely wonderful!!  The cinematography was beautiful, storyline, acting, music everything was great!  "A celebration of humanity" is a great description, it was simply wonderful.  I have been listening to the soundtrack pretty much non-stop and am obsessed.  If you are a fan of musicals, I highly recommend it.  My husband (who isn't a big musical fan) didn't hate it.  Have you seen it?  Let me know in a comment what your favorite song is.

Love Knot Bracelet:  This was a gift from my husband and I love how dainty it is and easy to wear.  I have really been enjoying wearing bracelets lately and this one is so cute.

Whipstitch Saddle Bag: Another Christmas present that has been on repeat since I got it.  I love how expensive this bag looks (seriously just like the Rebecca Minkoff version).  It is really small but I am adjusting.

Sherpa Vest: Y'all this vest is crazy soft!  I have been throwing this on over all my basics for a little extra warmth and texture.  These vests are usually pretty expensive but I found this one for less than $30.

Cross Hoop Earrings: I didn't think I would be a hoop girl but I actually really like these.  They are super comfortable and add just a little extra to an outfit.  I have had these on repeat as well.

What have you been loving lately?

What's In My Disney Backpack and Must Haves

If you have been around for a while you know I LOVE Disney.  I have had the chance to go to Disney World a couple of times in the past two years and I feel like I have a good feel for the parks and what you need for the day.  If you are planning a trip to Disney hopefully this will help you plan what you need.  Here's what I carry throughout the day:

Backpack: This is my absolute favorite Disney bag, I ordered it online and cannot wait to carry it in the parks.

Phone case: Because your phone should be Disney'd out too

Wallet: I like to bring a small wallet when I travel so I have more space in my bag.

Charger and cable: An external charger and your cord are lifesavers!  They sell some in the parks but they are pricey.

Disney Buttons: I love using fun buttons to add character to my jacket, bag, etc. Talk Disney to Me and Here for the Food are That Gray StuffHands Off My Dole Whip is from Wonderland Buttons.

Sunglasses: Whether you are in Florida or California it's bound to be sunny, a good pair of sunglasses is a must!

Hand Sanitizer: Trust me you need this!  So many people and germs around hand sanitizer is your best friend!

Wet Brush: All those rides get my hair super tangled, I like to bring a brush just to smooth out my hair after riding space mountain.

Bandaids: You never know when you might need one.

Hair Ties: Again, super tangled hair on rides sometimes just call for a hair tie.

Lypsyl: Just chapstick in general is a must have.

Lipstick: Not a must have but you are taking a lot of picture, might as well make sure your lips look good.  My favorite easy to apply color of the moment is Maybelline Warm Me Up

Sunscreen: Do your skin a favor and protect it with some sunscreen!

I also will typically throw a poncho in that I purchased from the Dollar Tree, you never know when it will start to rain in Florida.

Let me know what your must-haves are for Disney and your favorite things to do at Disney!

Swap Consignment Haul (Nordstrom for less)

I love to shop but I am all about a good deal.  I love to thrift but don't always want to brave the thrift store.  It's a lot of work to hunt and fight past the little ladies.  I am obsessed with Swap.  It's an online thrift store (thrifting in your jammies!!) and it is awesome!  I have made quite a few purchases from them in the past six months and have been really happy with them.  Here are my most recent purchases:

Chenille and velvet are super trendy right now and I managed to snag both!  This chenille sweater is one of my favorites and I have already worn it a few times.  So soft and cuddly, I get compliments on it every time.  Also this velvet tank is gorgeous!!  I have been pairing it with a jacket or cardigan.  These were both less than $3 each.

I also picked up three pairs of Hue jeggings.  These jeggings are sold at Nordstrom for $30 and up, I picked them up for less than $5 each.

Swap has sales all the time and your first order ships for free!  Check them out here and let me know what you find!

90% Off Target Christmas Haul

You know I love a good sale, I always love hitting up the after Christmas sales to see what deals I can find.  I typically wait for the 90% off to hit before I stock up.  Waiting until then you don't get the first pick and risk not finding anything but I love the hunt.  I went to Target and did a little digging in their 90% off section, it was pretty sparse and picked over but I still managed to find some deals.

I spent around $10 and saved $87, I'd say that's pretty good!

I picked this lip product up for 80 cents.

This was 20 cents, perfect for craft projects.

These were 69 cents, not my favorite pine scent but I think they will do the job.  My husband loves the smell of a real tree, we got our first fake tree this year and I admit I missed the smell.  I am looking forward to using these next Christmas to bring the Christmas smell in.

These were 40 cents each and I love them!  I wish I had bought more.  They are non-alcoholic cocktail flavored gummy bears.  We have only tried the old fashioned ones but they are delicious!

These card wallets were $1 each.  I picked them up for gifts to stash away.

I have been into diffusers lately and at 70 cents I couldn't pass this one up.

Always good to stock up on tags, these were 13 and 30 cents and so cute!

Probably my favorite (and best) find.  This pajama set was $2.49!!  It comes with a pair or ruffled shorts, sweatshirt, comfy socks and beanie.  So cute!!

I pretty much always stock up on gift wrap, these were 60 cents for the set and 30 cents for the minion roll.  I loved the set, how cute is the animal paper and I'm all about that plaid!

My favorite wrapping paper find was this minion one!!  They are so adorable and I wish I bought more!

Did you go after Christmas shopping?  What were your best finds?

Wonder Woman- Girl Power!!  If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it, Gal Gadot is awesome!

FitBit Changable Straps: I got a new FitBit for Christmas and I love the fact that you can change the straps!  These two are perfect for dressing it up a little bit.

Planner: I always love getting a new planner for Christmas.  This one is from Michael's and is small enough to fit in my bag but still big enough to actually plan things, also this one is so cute!

Chick-Fil-A Calendar Card: If you know me you know Chick-Fil-A is my fast food restaurant of choice.  I love getting a calendar card because it is the gift that gives all year.  You get a free item every month and I love it.

Chenille Cardigan: I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while and am so excited to finally have it!  It is so soft and cozy.

Boxercraft Sherpa Vest: This vest is one of my favorites!  My husband picked this one up for me and it is so soft!

Whipstitch Saddle Bag: I am obsessed with this bag!  It looks just like the Rebecca Minkoff version.

FitBit Alta HR: New FitBit!!  This was something I really wanted and am so excited to have a new one!  I love the slim version and the fact that you can change the straps.

Duck Boots: I have been wanting a pair of duck boots for a while and am so excited to finally have a pair!

Espresso Machine: I am so excited to have an espresso machine to make my own lattes, americanos, cappuccinos...give me all the coffee!!!

Sunglasses: Always love a good pair of sunglasses.  These are such a nice print and look so chic.

Love Knot Bangle: My sweet husband picked this one up for me and I love it!!  It is so pretty to layer or wear on its own.

Sherpa Pullover: Y'all I have been living in this guy!  It is so crazy soft and warm.  I already want another one...

2017 Year in Review

"Write it on your heart that everyday is the best day of the year" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hello 2018!!  I cannot believe another year is over...I'm getting old.  With the start of a new year I like to reflect on the year before and recap things that happened.  I love looking back on the years and this is an easy way for me to look back on the highlights of the year.

Everyone is posting about these on instagram, it shows your nine most liked pictures.  Wanna get yours, go here.

The year started out with a trip to Disney...is there a better way to start a year??  Go here to read more.

Still obsessing over this Tangled lantern picture that happened!

If you are a Disney fan you know they changed the fireworks show from "Wishes" to "Happily Ever After".  I got to experience my very last "Wishes" performance on this trip.

In April I had the chance to go to Stagecoach (a country music festival).  I had an absolute blast!  We also stumbled on Thomas Rhett in the Palm Springs airport.  Go here to check out more about this trip.

My youngest sister graduated from high school in June, can't believe she is in college.  Kyle and I made the trip to see her.  We had a great time seeing family and spending a little time at home.

We are trying to make an effort to try new things around our town.  We had a cute little doughnut place open and decided to try that one out.  We also tried a few other bakeries and other places around.

Besides trying restaurants we are trying to make time to explore and do things around while we are living here.  We went to the Ave Maria Grotto, go here to read more about our adventure.

If you have been around for awhile you know I have won a few concert tickets, I won a guitar and tickets to meet and see Devin Dawson and Michael Ray.  It was such a fun concert and it was really cool to meet these guys before they get big.  Go here to see more.

In October my sister and her boyfriend came to visit and we went to Talladega.  It was an experience for sure!  We had a great time and I loved getting to spend time with my sister.  Go here to read more.

The same weekend they came down it was homecoming at Alabama.  We didn't actually end up going to the game but we had to get a picture in front of the stadium.

The year wrapped up with travel to see family for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Go here to read more.

Let me know what the highlight of your year was.
I hope you all had a great 2017 and have a wonderful 2018!!
